i thoroughly love that they did not retcon this being the conclusion to buffys arc and instead said no, let's run with every horrible implication of making her come back. literally what if you were a fictional character and you were dead and finally at rest and then your friends/the network/your fans made you fight a monster every week again. because they love you! so much! and they're all so happy you're back! aren't you happy you're back?
