Another skull. Oil on 9x12" linen panel.
someday, a film maker will be brave enough to recognize that what we need is a sci fi adaptation of Dracula. someday.
The things that were scary about Dracula (foreigners, blood-drinking, religious damnation) and the things that were new and exciting (blood transfusion, wax cylinder records, international train travel) are no longer impressive to a modern audience. Hence why Jonathan Harker needs to travel to another PLANET to meet with a mysterious figure who turns out to be part of a parasitic alien mycelial network that is taking host bodies, and why Mina needs to be a self-taught hacker, and Seward a cyborg doing cutting-edge medical research on alien life forms.
Quincy is still just Quincy, of course.

☄️ ~ 🐉 Dragon skulls! 🐉 ~ ☄️
These are skulls of male chinese muntjacs, belonging to two different subspecies: Muntiacus reevesi reevesi (bigger one, native to mainland China) and M. reevesi micrurus (smaller one, endemic to the island of Taiwan).
They're full of distinctive features:
sharp tusks which help individuals in fighting, removing bark from trees, or digging;
right in front of the eye sockets, two large cavities called suborbital pits, where in life the scent glands would have been located. They are are fundamental for communication, as they release secretions used to mark territory and signal to other individuals;
two long bony pedicles that become more robust as they age and on which the antlers grow. As in other deer species, the antlers are shed and regrow periodically.
i understand the hip people who are like "experiences > things" but also to some extent it's like THINGS IS EXPERIENCES though. Things is the experience of getting the thing. fuck me you're making me sound like a scummy materialist and that's making me angry. I think my anger will force me out of the house to go and get a pack of cigarettes. which I will... [eyebrow raising to suggest I am making a profound point] experience.... smoking
I don’t have no quarrel with the whole “things and experience” connection. But in regard to your text post you should review the rules for singular nouns and plural nouns. Your choice of using is instead of are caused me to become very weary after about two seconds into reading the post. Have a nice day
Shit the fuck up
