omg Iâm so glad you asked this because yes, for sure, Buck definitely comes from a family of werewolves
but heâs super defensive about it because, like, his family comes from the Irish Packs and theyâve dedicated their entire lives to protecting children, which is one of the reasons Buck adores children so much and gets along with them so well. heâll go off on a long lecture about how the legend of werewolves had become so twisted and while sure, there are other packs out there that arenât quite the same, donât have the same duty to protect children as he does, he gets very offended if someone tries to lump him together with the others
And ya know what I have so much more to add to this cause like, the fire family is his pack, ya know? And they might not know it but they are and heâd do absolutely anything for them (especially for their children). he was so relieved when Maddie came back, too, because while he doesnât transform every time the moon is full (please, he has more control than that) he has missed spending close time with family around the full moon
