what nonphannies don’t understand is that it isn’t about “knowing” it’s about dnp’s queer joy and comfort level. we’re not happy bc they told us, we’re happy bc they felt comfortable and joyful enough to tell us. “knowing” has a weird power connotation. If you “knew” all along you’re trying to establish power over information that you don’t have authority on, and it takes power away from the people (dnp) telling you the information.

thinking about how dan and phil are travelling (and have travelled) so many places, and just like. how much more you just *know* as a person when you’ve been to so many places??

i’ve never been big on travelling—sure, there’s some places i wanna go one day, but i’m pretty content staying where i am

but it’s SO cool watching dan and phil do geoguessr or talk about tour and hear them remark about the places they’ve been to, especially all the buildings and landmarks! i’m an architecture major, so i just think it’s really neat that they get to experience so much culture through urban spaces/design. like that’s so different from sitting in a lecture listening about these buildings and cities!!

idk i just think it’s so neat that they get to do this and there’s something very enriching about travelling and having existed in so many places. happy 4 them
