I made a short animation on paper!! I've never done this before, and it's so different from digital. I'm feeling very exsited about drawing more of these
(There're only six frame in total if you wander)

Daily reminder to ya'll to NOT joke about things that you'll no doubt get super obsessed with. BECAUSE IT WILL INEVITABLY STOP BEING A JOKE.
...I say this because I may or may not have cursed myself with the very feral thoughts of T4T sapphic Smurfette x Vanity Smurf...
And now I need someone to draw them as that sapphic makeup meme.

Of course, my friend. Here it is.

(The most badass brotp)
I've noticed that a lot of people portray Vanity as a person with ultimate self-love and high self-esteem. Mostly, he is presented as somebody who loves himself unconditionally, in some kind of a funny, exaggereted way.
But i think we tend to forget that in reality narcissist people actually hate themselfs internally and think they're not good enough, which in return results in external hyper compensation. They pretentiously praise themselfs to avoid feeling of emptiness and unworthiness.
So i tend to view Vanity as a darker and more traumatized character, who have a broken rather then big self-evaluation. And i would be happy to see some content on this topic.
(But i don't diminish a positive presentation of Vanity; in my opinion it's good too. I belive that smurf's psychic doesn't necessarily have be the same as human's. I admit that Vanity may simply be born with cute charming selfish personality, without any tragic reasons for that. And I enjoy any kind of content with him, whether it's gentle or cruel)
Anyway, it's just my love for deep psychological things in characters.
(I'm attaching a picture with an originally different meaning, but it fits the context of the post haha)
I'm learning to enjoy my own work simply because it was done on a topic i like, even if it's... not perfect... as i would like it to be
Part of this acceptance process is sharing ig
I want someone to take my hand and say jently "let's rewatch whole original smurfs series while making some gay jokes about it"
