I think cutting out the part where YJH waited for KDJ by the bridge for 3 DAYS (? I don’t remember the exact number but yeah days) in the webtoon did significant damage to how webtoon-only readers see him as a character at the start of orv. It kinda cemented him as one of those cold, unfeeling power fantasy protagonist and removed nuance.

It made him out to be an asshole more than he actually is at the start of orv. Then it kinda snowballs from there with the webtoon removing a lot of little scenes of YJH showing emotions and generally being Not A Total Jerk. He isn’t cold-hearted!! He’s not a machine focused solely on dominating. Yeah he’s got character development to do at the start but he wasn’t a total douche

Getting dangerously close to sounding like KDJ here but listen LISTEN. I promise you YJH, even at the start of it all, wasn’t acting like those trashy MLs/MCs!! He wasn’t a complete jackass. Our Joonghyukie is differe— *gets dragged away by security*
