My character Golden and his older brothers. It’s been. While since I’d drawn Golden and I had never drawn a full body for his brothers so here’s three birds with one stone. +old Family tree that is still accurate
Youngest to oldest L-R
(Info: the reason none of them have the same name is that none of them were raised by the same people)
This is pretty old but still accurate (I did change Bruno’s name sense his old name kinda sucked for him so Bruno)
I keep making these scripts and it takes me forever to actually draw it.
Script:
Kallamar: Guruta, what have we talked about?
Guruta: That personal boundaries are like eyes.
Kallamar: And how are personal boundaries like eyes?
Guruta: They are both delicate, but integral views into seeing who a creature is and determine how they interact with the world and while all of them are different between creature to creature they still holding importance to the creature and their way of life.
Kallamar: Very good, Tia, now remember that for next time, ok hun?
Leshy: How the hell did you come up with that?
Kallamar: Look she may be one of the smartest creatures I know but she’s still 4 I had to work with something.
Could you give some tips on how to draw ball jointed dolls? More specifically where the hips connect to the thighs? Im making a Stranger OC who's a living doll (surprisingly unrelated to Nikola) and your one of the only artists I can thing of that Nikola semi often and half dressed
Tbh I find studying ball jointed dolls to be the easiest way to get better at drawing them!! There are all sorts of sculpts out there who do it well. The body I use for Nikola is one of impldoll's 1/4 scale bodies (because we own a doll with the sculpt ahah)
I recommend looking through Alice's Collections (BJD distributer) and look at all the different companies, they tend to post photos of the dolls posing to demonstrate their poseability!
Coincidentally i came across this art as well last night which could help with joints lmao (warning for nudity)
The odd Jessica and Roger Rabbit married couple between a large cat criminal who exhales magic dampening smoke and a insane giant mouse who can pull any oversized item out off her suit case who were both once pets of a Frenchwoman who worked as a lady in hand for Marie Antionette during the French Revolution and after their said owners death were both given human intelligence and powers by two eternal children. God I love character creation.
Meet Mathurine and Jean-Anthony de Vallois, side characters is my OC verse story (a world I put a lot of my OCs over the years in). I’ve had them for a while, Mathurine is a small stuffed mouse I have and I turned her into a character and Anthony was made because I wanted to give her a husband, so here are the drawings I’ve made of them. Jean-Anthony has changed slightly and he may change more slightly but Mathurine I dong see changing other than me learning how to draw her face. They have two forms, a cute small form and 7-8 feet tall monster forms/true forms. They do have human disguise but Jean-Anthony only wears his for business while Mathurine wears his very rarely if she thinks Anthony needs moral support.
Fun facts:
Jean-Anthony is a Turkish Angora while Mathurine is no particular brown mice breed
Both around 200 years old but Jean-Anthony is older
Mathurine’s suitcase sizes with her and reads ‘Roi de la Plaisanterie’ meaning ‘King of Jest’ in French
Mathurine uses Amplification magic with a Touch style while Jean-Anthony uses Dampening magic with Taste style (my magic system uses the 5 senses as basically different ways to do magic like wands)
Mathurine is 7’6ft not including ears or hat
Jean-Anthony is 8ft
Mathurine is a brown mouse with black eyes, but in her large form her eyes resemble spirals. Jean-Anthony is a slightly off white color with amber-green eyes.
Jean-Anthony doesn’t smoke, the ‘pipe’ he has is a hollow stick he breaths through as a stem because of watching his old owner smoke. (don’t try and breath through it, he has used it for long enough for it to be toxic to inhale)
though both are very strong, when amplifying, Mathurine can easily lift more then Anthony
Jean-Anthony says he wears a bodycon dress because he can (it is also because he says suits make him look fat)
Mathurine hates dresses.
They both are deeply in love with each other have a very good relationship built on trust and friendship
Jean-Anthony only purrs with Mathurine, alone or not.
When they were still animals, Jean-Anthony didn’t attack Mathurine because he never was a good mouser and never had interest in hunting, which is why he was given to a noble lady instead of staying as a ship cat
Additionally, Mathurine was a well behaved and pretty which is how she got in the care of the noble lady
Mathurine has no real inspiration while Jean-Anthony is spired by Ursula from The Little Mermaid and The Shadow Man from Princess and the Frog (and a bit of Kremy Lecroux from Once Upon a Witchlight)
Mathurine was named after one of the only female jesters of the same name, though she is also called Mathurine la Folle, I don’t remember who Jean-Anthony is named after.
THIS IS LATE BUT I HAVE A GOOD BIT TO SAY! [Also I guess spoilers on page 3 and subsequent if you haven't watch the finale]
I have been a TADC fan since day one (Pilot days) and I has been a part of me and my friends lives for the past 3 years. Though I do have my small issues with the finale and series as a whole (I wished some of the other characters got to shine more and feel like Jax's protagonist status was a bit forced, but you have probably heard all of that a million time), I like how the series ended. Though there most likely not be any more content made by gooseworks involving this series (I do sympathize with how much strain this show has put on her and hope Glitch can do better for their creators and set proper boundaries between fans and creator) remember that we have the incredible land of fan creation that now that everything is on the table, in a matter of speaking, that can help come up with even more ideas.
Regarding this art, is this a AU? Possibly ending? No clue. I just had a ruff week and used this to get back into drawing. If this gets popular then I could make more, I do have some other ideas, but this is a basic 'what the crew does after the finale. Abstract is cured, the best it can be, and how they are trying to live a 'normal' life. Designs may change between later drawings because this is the first time I drew most of these characters.
Yes I know I’m late but here’s some relationship charts. These are just the ones I could get done fast but ask me if there are any others you want me to make others.
I love Forneus but I don’t draw her at all (I think this is the second time I’ve ever drawn her). Also if anyone has a proper way to write dialogue for her that would be great because she speaks so weird and it’s so cool but hard to write. But here’s the boys and Guruta because Forneus will always have Guruta over.
Also for anyone curious, Narinder was more of a donor rather than him and Forneus having any form of romantic relationship. The two of them are friends but after everything they aren’t as close as they once were, but they like to talk about the boys and Narinder talks about Guruta and cult ground gossip.
Fun fact: Forneus was definitely the one The Lamb got advice from when Guruta was a baby because they had no idea what they were doing.
