I’m Annakat, I have only recently joined the sshg (Severus/Hermione) ship community. But it has absolutely consumed my very soul. For the last year I have obsessively read almost exclusively snamione fanfiction. And of course as a writer my brain became filled with ideas for stories. So I have began writing a fic. Writing is like telling a secret to the page. You sit down, and it’s just you and the words, no one to judge, no one to interrupt. It doesn’t matter if it’s messy or if you don’t know where it’s going, most of the time, you won’t. But that’s the thing about writing, you don’t need to know. You just start, and somewhere in the middle of the mess, something true comes out. Maybe it’s not what you thought you wanted to say, but it’s real, and that’s the point.

summary

Severus expected savage satisfaction at knowing someone finally knew the torture he was going through. Knew the weight of his guilt. Especially when that someone was Potter's little know-it-all friend. But seeing his own pain reflected in Hermione Granger made something deep inside him ache. It opened wounds that had scabbed over with bitterness. In the aftermath of the battle at the department of mysterious The Dark Lord is possession of the prophecy, the golden trio is forever broke and against every good sense Severus Snape has he forms a soft spot for Hermione Granger.

*inhales* I just had a dream where Severus and Hermione were the same age and they were best friends and they were being goth and bisexual together and dancing to the Cramps together and painting each other’s nails black and reading and cuddling together and Hermione was putting eyeliner on Severus so could go to a Siouxie and the Banshees concert and it was somehow gay and straight at the same time and and it was so beautiful and now I’m crying. *gasps for breath*

I’ve always had this headcanon that Remus would be very supportive of Severus’s and Hermione’s relationship considering his relationship with Tonks.
