Hi kids, this is Mommy Missi and I would like to begin with an apology to all of the people who have been loyal customers. I believe I owe you an explanation. An awful lot has happened at S4U. In the past 9 months, we watched the rapid decline of Betty, our chief seamstress and Danny’s Mom, due to cancer. For those interested, you will be glad to know she passed peacefully surrounded by her family in her last days. She is greatly missed. Since then there have been 2 relocations, and a separation. Danny and I have decided it would be best to part ways. In other news, I have decided that I am going to revive S4U, greatly restructured. Instead of a 3 person team, it’s just me now. I am in the process of going through old orders that never got finished. Most of them only have just a little bit to be completed. So, for those of you that ordered from us and the order was never fulfilled, I am offering the chance to get your outfit, or to get your money back. I won’t be able to do it overnight, and I am starting the business back up with zero capital, to be sure. I am not going to ask any of the people who paid for an outfit to pay anything else; I just want to make it right with you. We never intended to come off as con artists, shysters, or anything else like that. Circumstances worked against us, as I am sure you have heard before. Enough of that, we want to make it right, and have a chance at serving the community again. I am still very much a part of this community, and I want to give back to a community that gave me so much joy.It’s going to be slow at first. With the loss of Betty, who did the lion’s share of the sewing, there are techniques I am going to have to learn and perfect, and that will take time. When Betty passed, Danny just didn’t have the heart to even look at his mom’s sewing room, never mind work on the things she put so much love and care into. Before she became too ill to work, she brought a number of projects to near completion. I have all of the old designs and patterns, and with the help of my new little boy, Alan, will design and build new ones to go along with all your favorites. Alan, bless his heart, can’t sew to save his life, but maybe I can fix that… He’s an audio engineer by trade, and a longstanding member of the community, but how much can you really ask a 2 year old to contribute? This is an olive branch. I am sure that there are many people who will never trust S4U again, but know that I am as committed to you, the community as a whole, as I ever was. More than likely, there will be a little bit of a waiting list, but everyone will get their products. We prided ourselves on having the best outfits at the best price, with the best customer service, sometimes to our detriment. The pricing structure will change, as a lot of times we wound up taking losses on a lot of these orders. I have to make a living on this stuff.
