Rifty Lotor Theory

we never see lotor in the position of needing quintessence to live like his parents - which makes sense if he’s part rift creature.

I think he would work kind of like a black hole, automatically and unconsciously absorbing the quintessence around him, keeping him alive for the same length of time as his parents without using the force (or whatever) to drain people’s quintessence.

Of course it could just be that it was the quintessence in the rift that slowed his ageing and that’s just how that works but that’s lame so I’ve decided he’s a rift lad.
