I want to have a romantic evening with Lemony. I feel like he would be so sweet and gentle, but also respectful of my boundaries. We could have a long conversation about our feelings, while he strokes my hair and we comfort each other.

If they ever do an "epilogue" episode to follow the Beatrice letters and Beatrice Jr's story, Emily Browning should cameo as the older Violet. It's only the right thing to do as Malina and Emily are pretty much identical. Plus nostalgia.
I'll never forgive the writers if they kill Esme in the final season. It's left ambiguous in the books, and my headcanon is that Esme and Carmelita escaped the fire and began a new life together, with Esme finding a new (female?) lover.
I wouldn't be surprised if the hook-handed man was the one who planned on separating the Baudelaires so that he specifically could try to adopt Sunny.
I don't understand why Mr. Poe couldn't let the Baudelaires live with Justice Strauss. Besides Olaf, Monty and Josephine (even they are only distantly related) none of their guardians are related to them, so why does the relation issue matter? Poe lets an ENTIRE VILLAGE watch them, but not someone who actually treated them decently?!
They should have given Jacques one eyebrow in the Netflix series.
It bothered me that, in the show, Count Olaf saw through Klaus’ doctor disguise. I always felt like the Baudelaires finally being able to fool him was a really powerful moment.
Esme's circus costume could give Lady Gaga a run for her money.
I love the hook-handed man's relationship with Sunny.
So Esme just happened to carry a twin costume with her? Then again it's very likely that it was meant for the two white-faced women. It's very unlikely that Violet and Klaus would be able to sew random clothes together in such a short period of time.
I have a feeling that Carmelita ran away from home and her parents never cared less as they were probably alcoholics. Then she forged a letter to Profrock from her parents and Nero fell for it. He still kept her after finding out the truth. In fact her cunningness made him like her even more.
I'm very excited to see how the show portrays the Hotel Denouement's architecture and Dewey Decimal-themed room design. The building had a very detailed description in the 12th book and Brett Helquist didn't make any illustrations of it so it was hard to picture it in my head.
Re-reading the books, you wonder where all of the quirks Snicket had that didn’t make it to the show are- like Sir and the cloud of smoke and the huge lasagne. But I feel like the books were written in the POV of a child and when it shows on screen, you realize that Sir just smoked a lot and the lasagne wasn’t that big. It really is neat seeing that as an adult
The relationship between show Violet and Klaus seems more genuine than movie Violet and Klaus. I always got an uncomfortable sexual tension between the actors when watching the movie which I think led to a lot of people shipping them. But in the show, they actually seem like brother and sister.
I don’t understand the adoration of Olaf that people have. He is a child predator and I am grateful that they toned down that vibe in the show.(talking about sleeping with Violet, rubbing the bud of the knife in RR against her knee, telling her how he would keep her alive and kill her siblings, saying he wanted her to live cause she was the prettiest). The show also didn’t show how he abused the triplets. Their appearance in the books was worse than in the show (haunted looks/raggedy clothes)
I really think NPH portrayal as Olaf is good. He made it his own character and you can tell he loves playing him. Jim Carrey’s was amazing, but it stuck to the books and was a dark version as w/ the mood of the movie. Harris’s brought all of Olaf’s antics to life and updated for this decade’s audience. At first I was nervous about him, but seeing him in the show made me see that he was right for the role. To me, he brought up what my child self saw him as.
