Okay so… Im not really into that fancy formatting stuff… But I finished chapter 2 of my vampire x vampire hunter aerti fanfic

Basically the whole premise of the fic is that Aerith is a part of a group of vampire hunters who travel across Gaia hunting vampires based off reports and they end up in Nibelheim. There was a vampire attack that “killed” Tifa and her friends, but actually, Tifa got turned and is a newborn vampire

And aerith has a BIGGG secret 😳😳😳 well… I can’t say… because it’s spoilers… let’s just say, her and Tifa aren’t so different…

What I think FF7 characters would listen to (Part 1)

I don’t know how to start this post but basically, I make a LOT of character playlists, usually of what I think a character would listen to. I’ve already explained these on TikTok about a year ago but I wanna do it more on tumblr. The playlists are better now too! These are just my headcanons.

When picking the songs I tried to stay before 2007, or at least before 2010 because apparently FF7 takes place in “2007”, or 0007, but obviously that is not our 2007

Cloud

I think Cloud would listen to a lot of self-loathing post-grunge and alternative metal. He’d love Linkin Park, all the songs off Hybrid Theory and Meteora are literally him. Also that entire TRUSTcompany album is him too listen to it its so good. He’d also like industrial rock, not leaning ebm though but more like Filter.

When picking songs for my playlists I pay attention to the lyrics. I could post some of them but too much of them relate to Cloud… nvm I’ll limit myself to 1 for all of them…

Ok Aerith my other goat. Aerith is the Lilith Fair personified. I think she’d like singer-songwriter, indie, folk pop, art pop stuff, then like indietronica? And trip hop that specifically sounds like that one Madonna album. Very ethereal electronic music. I think I explained this so bad but there’s at least a million people in the world with this exact music taste. She inherited Fleetwood Mac from Elmyra and they’re her favorite band ever…

Chapter 1: Still Remains

Word Count: 1k+

All she remembered was the sun scorching her skin, then being consumed by a never-ending thirst. Searching for anything that bleeds, she picks up on a spoor and jolts in excitement. Human blood, ambrosial. Turning her head towards it, suddenly it’s not as satiating, but still, it will do. Better than one of a cervid. She settles and tracks the scent.

Her senses cut through the fog-ridden forest, guiding her straight to the source. Coming closer, the scent drowns her nerves. Her compulsion erupts. She leaps over logs and closes in on her prey.

Aerith grips the stake holstered on her waist and watches her back. Just the wind. Slowly, she looks forward, but then branches break. Whipping around, something lunges at her. Aerith points her stake out, but the figure’s movements slow, then stagger, stumbling onto her in a final grip. She guards her neck with her forearm, then observes the strange behavior. Her gaze lowers from its foggy eyes to its lips, which twitch between states of mind. The vampire’s grip fades, so Aerith shoves it away. It sprints back into the shadows. Strange.

I did Zanka in part 1 but I gave him a Sawk and didn’t give him a render. When I was writing notes about a possible Pokémon AU I wanted a Pokemon that would evolve alongside Zanka and Sawk can’t evolve, but Lucario can, and everyone says Zanka would have a Lucario. Sorry Sawk. But Sawk would still be on his team just not as his ace.
