holding politicians accountable is important and a crucial freedom in any democracy, but holding Kamala Harris under a microscope of incessant critique when we’re less than 2 months away from an election and the only other person who can win said election is a cancer on society who has actively tried to end American democracy before and will undoubtedly do so again if elected….is not useful. hold her accountable after she wins and is inaugurated, not when we’re trying to win a razor thin race where our fundamental human rights are at stake. If you can’t grasp the seriousness of this election, then it’s your right to sit it out. But I’m not going to pretend you’re not being actively harmful by spreading rhetoric that discourages others from voting and political participation in general.
