Canāt believe I have to do this again. Itās been 3 years, 5 months, and 14 days. And here we go again..... I am an admin from the Trichotillomania Facebook Group of over 9,000 members. The group Rebecca recently left. Rebecca, stop telling people Jess is the one who removed you. This wasnāt an last minute decision by 1 person; Jess had nothing to do with the physical act and reasoning behind your removal. We have roles in the way we admin. There is a structure to what we do and why. We donāt just remove people like that. We consider it as a whole. Iāve been in this group administrating it way before you joined it. Stop using her as a scapegoat. I repeat. Stop using her as a scapegoat. Youāve spoken with me in the past and you should know this. Stop inciting people to Dox us (we are people, we have families). Stop inciting people to target the Admins (we are not aĀ ātheyā) Stop suggesting to people we removed you for no reason (seriously?). We arenāt admins because we like to screw with people. Each of us have had an important impact on the community. Be it awareness, education, or creating a ribbon. We have to take care of a specific group of 9,000 people. We watch out for them before anything else. We are their first line of support. And most importantly, we were all once members too; we all have Trichotillomania. We protect them because we are them. We are respecting your privacy and actually trying very hard not to tarnish what amazing things youāve done for this community because of what happened. Please consider the same for us. That is all.
