Gellert was waving a stick before Sirius. "Does the dog want to play fetch? Does he?"
There was a mixture of intimidation, but also his more canine instinct that he felt roused when Gellert started to wave the stick before him. He might have been an animagus but that didn’t mean that he was about to start playing fetch with someone whose name he knew only from books. Still the books always left out how remarkably handsome he was and was torn between fighting the urge to fetch and showing off his prowess as animagus by transforming into a dog to fetch the stick.
Sirius pulled out his wand. Fine. He would indulge Gellert. Transfiguring into the large black dog was something that he had done countless times in his youth and at this point he didn’t even have to utter the incantation. Now as a dog he sat before him, grey eyes transfixed on the stick. If he did retrieve it he was half tempted to just chuck it at Gellert.

“I got in plenty of trouble without being discovered,” he replied, but immediately felt the protective wariness flare up when the other mentioned wanting to meet James. Not that he would show how on the defensive he felt, instead he decided to just play it off. After all Gellert believed in the Hallows and whether or not that cloak was more was enough for him to mistrust his intentions.
“I mean I’m sure both of you can discuss causing mischief, you have that in common, but unless you are interested in hearing the finer points of Quidditch, I doubt you would get that interesting of a conversation. Anyways, I am the better looking one.” Sirius winked and then placed his hand on the other’s hip, hoping to distract him from following the train of thought about the Hallows.
Gellert could tell that Sirius had picked up on his words. He had to be more careful. If he wanted to get a hand on the cloak, then he had to make the boy feel secure and safe. Lulled away, half asleep.
Gellert replied: “Well, well, who would I be to refuse such a dashing specimen?” He allowed Sirius to place a hand on his hip. Leaning forwards he placed a hand on the boy’s midwaist and ran a hand through black hair, smirking. “I am sure you can show me just how excellent you are.”
The touch tingled and Sirius had to wonder if it was from how handsome and charming the other was or if it was just from the sheer strength of his magic. "I can show you a world different than the one of you've dreamt of that's for sure," he said, allowing himself to melt into his touch, "Maybe not one where you are ruler supreme, but one where you could be happy." Sirius knew he was only able to resist the touches for so long before his naturally affectionate personality craved more. His springy curls bounced as Gellert's hands ran through his hair and he shut his eyes in a moment of vulnerability to savour Gellert's touch.
Gellert was almost his opposite, he knew, after all Sirius always loved muggle things and preferred to mix the wizarding world with the muggle one. Whether it was with the motorcycle he modified or the knife that he had enchanted to pick any lock, Sirius always felt that the best way for the wizarding world to go was to embrace the muggle world and grow with it.
