youd think horses were one of those animals that has horrible health due to humans breeding unhealthy animals to achieve a certain look but no they really are just naturally that fucked up
horses’ lungs bleed when they run at a certain speed
if their diet is too rich / low in selenium their hooves fall off
excuse me
The reason they have such poor health outcomes after breaking or otherwise injuring their legs is because their legs are actually hyper-specialized fingers; and as in human fingers, there is very little muscle supporting the bone, just a lot of cartilage and tendons and whatnot. You’d think an animal that literally evolved to run away to avoid being eaten would have ALSO evolved sturdier running appendages, but…
I fucking hate this post, it’s 1 AM I don’t want to know that horse legs are giant fucking fingers
Also if temperatures fluctuate too intensely and rapidly, it fucks up their digestive track and since they can’t throw up they basically just die instead
I heard vine compilations were a thing
I actually laughed so hard I cried at “when I was gay I thought I was in the third grade”

There's a lot of "me too" on my Facebook, and I want to participate because, me too, but I don't feel like answering questions from family. Like yes, most of my family knows I was molested by father, but will they think it's because of that or will they question if there's more. Because there is more, but my mom doesn't know that.
my friend: come over
me: no i am tired
my friend: i have drama to discuss that doesn’t involve us

A reminder to all of the mentally ill kids seeking treatment and other people new to the psych system:
If you absolutely hate going to your therapist, you have the wrong therapist
If you feel like your therapist doesn’t understand you, has misdiagnosed you, or is focusing on the wrong things, you have the wrong therapist
If your therapist is too old to understand the things you’re going through, like cyberbullying or LGBT related issues, you have the wrong therapist
If you feel like therapy isn’t working for you, YOU HAVE THE WRONG THERAPIST!
I went through five therapists before finding mine. FIVE. Sometimes it takes a while to find someone who works for you, but you do NOT have to be stuck with a therapist you don’t enjoy seeing or you don’t feel is helping you!
same goes for psychiatrists! if you don’t feel like you’re being listened to, or feel like you’re not being taken seriously, you have the wrong mental healthcare professional!
L’Oréal Has Dropped Its First Transgender Model For A Facebook Post Calling Out White Privilege
The announcement received considerable press coverage, and L’Oréal was praised for the campaign, themed around diversity.
However, this week the Daily Mail published details of a Facebook post Bergdorf had written after August’s violent far-right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she apparently called for white people to “admit their race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth”.
The post has since been deleted, but the Daily Mail claimed to have text from it:
“Because most of ya’ll don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour. Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this s***.
“Come see me when you realise that racism isn’t learned, it’s inherited and consciously or unconsciously passed down through privilege.”
“Once white people begin to admit that their race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth… then we can talk.”
"Until then stay acting shocked about how the world continues to stay f***** at the hands of your ancestors and your heads that remain buried in the sand with hands over your ears.”
Following publication of the Daily Mail’s story, white people on social media expressed their anger at what they believed was a L’Oréal model expressing “racist” views.
Some began using the hashatg #BoycottLOreal, saying they would stop using the company’s products until Bergdorf was removed from the campaign.
On Friday morning, L’Oréal UK’s official Twitter page wrote that the company would be parting ways with Bergdorf.
But this then also resulted in a backlash from people on social media who believed Bergdorf had done nothing wrong. They too began using the #BoycottLOreal hashtag.
Many people found it hypocritical of the company to remove someone from a diversity beauty campaign for speaking out on diversity issues.
L’Oréal also deleted the promotional video for Bergdorf’s campaign from its official YouTube page.
