JamiKali comedy where a student makes it obvious they are lowkey into Jamil (i guess bonus points if they are a noble/wealthy?) and Kalim doesn't mind! He's quite supportive and even teases Jamil about it, plays a little matchmaker on the side because his best friend deserves the best (so why not a young, rich guy who can take care of him)! Like he is fully blissfully enjoying the situation while a problem arises because Jamil is like "i am NOT into this dude because UNFORTUNATELY i am into YOU".
It's a strange misunderstanding because Kalim is convinced Jamil likes this guy and like their no1 supporter while Jamil is going through the five stages of grief because he does not want to confess to Kalim yet but can he like not try and leave Jamil with this student alone every 5 mins??? Its awkward as fuck!
I love it when Jamil is surprised about some fact about Kalim. Mr knows everything about Kalim slowly realizing he doesnāt know shit. They were super close in Kalimās mind and Jamilās in a sense but in reality itās more complicated. So thereās very well stuff that has happened to Kalim or just aspects of his person Jamil doesnāt know. Unlike a normal person who wouldnāt be bothered by this, it irritates the fuck out of Jamil lowkey and heās kinda irritated at Kalim for never mentioning something about it earlier meanwhile Kalim is like āyou really wanted me to tell you that I donāt really like mauve???ā Or āI didnāt think it was important to mention Iāve been to a ballet before?ā Like itās some minor ass shit but Jamil is peeved for no goddamn reason and god forbid someone else knew before him.

Haunting humiliating he needs to kill Kalim everyone and then himself. Jamil takes so much pride in being smart and good at watching over Kalim. The concept of him overlooking something is gonna bother him in the back of his mind forever. Like the tiniest of rocks permanently trapped in his shoes.
Again itās important to me that the detail is the most dumb petty small thing. Jamil of course would know basic things like Kalimās favorite colors and allergies and most stories Kalim commonly shares with everyone. But fuck Jamil you didnāt even know he dislikes the texture of sherpa blankets? Wowwwwww
Or actually maybe it could be even less basic because Jamil lowkey does not know as much about Kalim sometimes. Like actually do you know his favorite color Jamil??
Guards shatter that manās security and self confidence
Listen. Listen. We all know it's Jamil's job to protect Kalim. But we never talk about the (few) times Kalim is the one protecting Jamil.
There are usually no consequences to the boys overblotting and trying to murder everybody destroying everything, but Jamil actually had some consequences (his dormmates losing trust in him and wanting him gone, and all that).
With just this glimpse of damage control Kalim did, we can more or less guess all the other kind of damage control Kalim did to protect Jamil. He didn't just defend him from their dormmates, he also most likely defended him from both their families. By liying surely. Kalim doesn't lie about anything (but maybe he does omit when it comes to his own sense of mortality), so the fact that Jamil suffered no consequences from their families despite having attempted murder on his own master means Kalim actively brushed it all under the carpet and pretended everything was fine. And that's his whole personality isn't it? To pretend everything is fine.
I just... I loved this tiny glimpse of Kalim's protectiveness. Glory to the Sunshine.

Generally, Joe comes off as a kind and gentle person.Ā
Joeās a rather calm and chill person to be around.
Heās very delusional confident in himself.
Very resilient, can and kinda has bounced from anything.
Heās not shy per se, just introverted and awkward.Ā
Gets shocked and flustered when people genuinely compliment him.
Naturally nicer towards women and people he deems āyoungerā than him.Ā
Weirdly protective of younger boxers.
Kind of a dumbass, but still has a little self-awareness. Like, he does have the ability to giggle at himself for being a dumbass.
Despite those, Joe has a lot of vices.
Joe is as blunt as a hammer and shockingly sassy.Ā
