I’ve pondered this one too.

In everything I’ve found on greek associations of rosemary it has been to healing and memory. I think memory = remembering the dead is a more modern association, which is where I’ve hesitantly concluded the association stems from. (But I’m only baby steps into this.)

My birthday gift from Emily of ofpagesandink has finally arrived! It took AGES because it was from overseas, but that’s cool. I’m patient. And it’s here and it’s beautiful and I’ve been craving a new fpen. Yey! Thank you so so much, sweetheart! Sadly, I am having problems getting the ink to run, but I suspect that’s because it’s a new pen. Man, it’s been ages since I’ve had a new pen to play with! I loaded it with Noodlers Bullet Proof Black because I thought the blue would clash horribly with the wine red. Gosh, I’m in love with that hidden nib. It’s so COOL. It’s SUPER light and I’m not sure how I feel about that. I like how comfortable and solid my other pens feel and the weight of this one makes me feel like it’s going to break. :/
