hiiii okay so I recently hit 4k followers (now almost 4.1k) and I just want to say thank you so so much for following me, so sorry i can’t make edits to save my life so this is what we’re working with. i’ve had this blog for about 7-8 years now (taking about a 3 year hiatus). i have made so many wonderful friends on this blog and i really don’t know what i’d do without you all. I don’t think I did, but have a mini-masterpost:

Zayn sticking up for Niall and telling him he doesn’t have to do something during an interview.

Grooming.

Telling Niall he can spit out his vegemite after he tastes it for the first time and finds it really not to his liking.

Taking Liam to task for not coming up with genuine compliments about Niall during an interview section.

Feeding Niall against the rules during 1D Day because Niall is always hungry and it was a very long day.

Worrying about Louis falling off the stage and trying to corral him.

Fixing Louis’ sleeves for him during one of the hotter concerts.

Tying shoes.

Being careful about water safety.

Protecting Liam when the jokes get a little too rough.

And again.

Watching out for Liam after he broke his arm.

And again when Liam was under the weather.

Saving Harry from becoming a shish kabob.

Standing up for Harry’s reputation during an interview.

@ post hiatus fans: what we’ve went through the past couple of days is exactly how every day felt back when the band was active. like the constant clowning, hitting post limit, insistent anger, widespread confusion, shady bullshit, cryptic behavior, lack of sleep/fearful of sleep, completely exhausted 24-7, anxiety through the roof, our brain leaking, and never-ending love........ every single day for 5 years these couple of days were reality. and i do not know how we did it night after night. we were bionic.

not to get #fakedeep but i don’t know if post-hiatus fans really understand how much fans clung onto Zouis and their friendship. in a time where larry couldn’t interact and zayn & louis felt isolated, they both connected with one another and brought out a friendship that has always been so so special to see unfold. it’s hard to find friendships with men be portrayed the way Zouis was, and you could just tell how much love spilled from them both for the other. they weren’t just partners in crime— they were family. they were attached to the hip. they protected one another. they were loyal. they were fiercely nurturing. they made each other belly laugh. they provided a place of public warmth during some of the most stressful years of the band. they picked each other up by the bootstraps. they genuinely adored each other. they were so much brighter together. so when the friendship ended, it felt like a punch to the gut so see something that was built up and we cherished as much as these boys did just crumble right before our eyes. Zouis was a loving corner of the internet when not much else was. so excuse me if i’m overly emotional about louis following zayn back on instagram after so many years. it’s. just a lot.
