🧸 ESSA Flag 🐾
a flag for those who use ESSA's for any reason
💛🩷💜💙
what is a ESSA? ↓
ESSA stands for ; emotional support stuffed animal ~~ ESSA's are not service animals / stuffed service animals. They are stuffed animals that comfort the owner in some way, typically used by (but not limited to) mentally disabled people. ~~ ESSA's are healthy coping mechanisms!
SFW interactions only
When going on an adventure be sure to pack the essentials! Especially your friends!
Thinking about a Plushie Hospital, groomers, and training center
Bio kids, adults, and regressors alike can come sit with our stuffie doctor who diagnoses a rip or floppy limb or stain. And you can either wait in the lobby while your stuffie is treated or come back the next day if need be
You can have your plushies washed with care, sprayed with a custom smell, and brushed. Noses and eyes are polished back to new. Missing buttons are replaced
Then you can head to the boutique which is stocked with clothes, collars, and ESSA gear. You can join a craft workshop to make your own stuffie food or matching kandi bracelets. You can also do training workshops with your ESSA where you learn breathing exercises, how to sooth yourself with your stuffie, etc
And when you go home you're given a note from the doctor with what your stuffie was treated for, or a card that 'officially registers' your ESSA complete with an ID photo, or a receipt of everything you got...
Just thinking

friendly reminders about ESSA/emotional support or comfort plushies! ✨️
they don't have to be dogs! and if they are, they don't have to be douglas!
they can be old plushies you've had for a while already!
you can have more than one!
you can be an adult with an essa!
you don't need to buy them harnesses or gear at all to be an ESSA!
you don't have to bring them on outtings!
they can be really small or really big! not just carrying size!
anyone and everyone can have one!
just remember: an ESSA just means an "Emotional Support Stuffed Animal" - notice how "service dog" isn't even there when you think about it!
it's just because that look may be mostly what you see, but they don't have to look like everyone's else's!
they're just a plushie that brings you comfort!
every stuffed animal is unique. the seams are never identical, their face shape, the light their eyes hold, the places where fur gets worn is unique to every plushie. you own a one of a kind artwork. love its imperfections !!

It has come to my attention that online safety is not taught, so I wanted to put together a compiled version of some helpful information I know and have gathered for my fellow regressors. I hope this helps someone!

This is part four of my curly hair series! I didn't see much textured hair or POC representation in age regression so I made some of my own. Check out my natural hair agere moodboard, boyre curly board, and boyre hair inspo in my pinned, & look out for feminine hair inspo in the future 🧺🧴🧼💈🎀

i dunno if anyone other than me needs to hear this but your stuffed animals love you!
even if they don't sleep in bed with you every night! even if you don't play with them very often! even if they fall on the floor, or you squish them accidentally! even if you forget them in your bag overnight!
they all love you even if you've been spending a lot of time with one specific one and not as much with them! they know that different stuffies help bring you different comfort and they love you and love when you feel happy and safe!
your stuffed animals are your friends and they feel loved by you and they love you too :)

How to start an agere journal _ ( helpful tips ) + Making my own!
Designing the journal itself
Choose a Journal: The most important thing is that your journal is *YOU* comfortable! Which means that the idea and theme of your journal makes you comfortable and happy. it doesn't matter the palette or design, as long as it makes you happy.
Use Fun Supplies: Crayons, markers, pastel pens, and stickers make journaling more fun and little-friendly!
Section It Off: Create sections for different things! this means sectioning it into smaller groups of pages like sticker pages, drawings, daily logs, stuffies & char. profiles, fun lists & ideas, etc!
Make It Cozy: Journal in a comfy spot with a soft blanket, stuffies, and maybe a sippy cup or warm drink!
Use Stickers & Doodles: If writing feels too big, use stickers or draw simple pictures to express your feelings.
Prompts and ideas!
