a-deuce + prefect shenanigans
synopsis: they’re best friends, your honor
pairing: ace trappola x prefect!yuu x deuce spade, platonic
genre: comedy, ace and deuce fight all the time but wbk
notes: this is basically a-deuce brainrot but platonic/canon
- ace and deuce are definitely the type to argue even from two different sides of the room
- one day deuce gets sick of him and just. summons his cauldron to hit ace but the boy somehow deflects it
- but it ends up hitting the prefect instead
- and there’s just
- a tense silence
- until ace is in the floor with bruised shins and deuce is narrowly dodging chairs flying at his direction
- crewel just packs his stuff and leaves the classroom without a word
- they had one (1) sleepover unsupervised before crowley sent trey to start checking on them every few hours
- why, you may ask?
- deuce didn’t know that aluminium foil couldn’t go into the microwave
- ace, being the little shit he is, was the only one there to watch him but surely it couldn’t go that bad right?
- wrong
- yuu and grim came home after bargaining with sam for more pillows and blankets to a crispy microwave-burnt dinner and ace and deuce arguing over whether or not they should use burn cream or ice cubes for their burns
- all three of them are banned from every chicken farm in twisted wonderland for obvious reasons
- they once bribed grim with a month’s worth of tuna cans to have a magicam photoshoot like the ones you see with people’s cats on social media
- everyone who hangs out with them have riddle on speed dial because something. always. goes. wrong.
- their closets are also always mixed up
- deuce and ace once got into an argument over whether or not the latter took his pink leopard print boxers
- ace: IT’S FUCKING UGLY WHY WOULD I TAKE IT
- deuce: TAKE THAT BACK YOU PIECE OF SHIT I GOT IT IN A SET FROM MY MOM
- grim: so are you going to tell them you have it?
- prefect: no. this is payback for the time ace ruined my white sweatshirt.
- THEY’RE ALWAYS GETTING INTO DETENTION OH MY GOD
- but for (questionably) good reasons.
- deuce once got detention for beating up someone who made fun of yuu. and because there weren’t any witnesses he didn’t have any proof to back it up (fortunately the bully got detention too)
- then ace and yuu.... bless their souls.... they purposely get detention too
- deuce: tf are you doing here
- ace/yuu: keeping you company
- the teachers are done with them at this point
- crowley: why is it that every time something happens, you three are involved?
- yuu is so, so tired of them
- but as the only braincell in the trio, they can’t just leave them by themselves (secretly loves them but wbk)
- sleepovers!!! are!!!! a!! must!!!!
- high-stake card games where you bet money. or literally anything in general. are banned because ace is just too good and grim doesn’t know when to give up
- always argue over who sleeps in the bed (“it’s my bed, you assholes.”) but all of them end up sleeping on the floor instead
- some people question the nature of their friendship but honestly. just go to ramshackle in the morning and look at them all tangled up together.
