A phenomenon called Isaribi Kochu, or ‘fish-attracting light pillars’ appear over Mikaya Port in the coastal town of Daisen, Tottori Perfecture, Japan. probably the best advice I've ever got was from my grandpa when I moved from my town and started a university, he told me to leave the house everytime when I start to feel down, just to go to the park, a supermarket, a bookstore, to even drive in a bus or tram, just be around other people because staying at home all the time kills you; and you know he was right

it feels like when i look at myself in the mirror i look at a guy whose life i control and sometimes i don't like his appearance and i have to fix it up but like what power do i have over this guy or rather why do i have to take care of this guy and make sure he looks good? who even is he? why should i care about what happens to him, and why is he looking this uncomfortable whenever i see him?

does anyone have conversations with themself/another part of themself sometimes? i know i don't have DID but my tendency to dissociate is kinda out of control and sometimes this girl chimes in when im writing. i feel like i've known her for years. some of our conversations are on the archive if you wanna check, the posts are tagged #corners (cause she lives in a corner of my mind)

it's almost 3 am so naturally my mind decided to make me write 8 pages of rambling 👁️‍🗨️

i don't know if any of this is legible. well, it will end up on the archive anyway (when, i don't know, there are still like... 100 entries to go)

but yeah, for now my commonplace book looks like this. it's a random 190 pages a6 book from oxford. it will likely be replaced by the dailies of the cousin. i generally let the margins breathe for two or three days before i come back to the pages to add to the thoughts i was discussing in the main text.

anyway. gender is weird, and communicating with others is excruciating.
