If you're not sure how to make a rec list for our fic rec day on February 14th, here are a few tips!
give as much or as little detail as you like (but link, title, and author are all a must!) (if you don't know the author's tumblr, link back to their profile on the fanfiction website of their choosing)
ex: I hope this email finds you hell by @yrbeecharmer
you can include the fic's summary, or a hook that's all your own!
ex: i forgor by @buoyantsaturn (under 5k, cute amnesia fic!)
if you want to give a lot of detail, play around with formatting!
ex: creachure by @thelordofshrimp [5.8k, T]

we want to show our favorite authors love and appreciation for all of the hard work they put into so many wonderful fics! if you normally nominate fics to Liz's @solangeloficawards, take a few minutes to post a list of all the fics you've been saving up for this year's nominations list - it's even easier to build your own list than to fill out the submission form!
And if you really want to give your rec list the usual Fic Awards feel, consider dividing your rec list into sections based off of your favorite fic awards categories, like Best AU, Best Chaptered (Finished), or Best Fluff! You don't have to worry about ranking your favorite fics, either - just like the regular fic awards, there's no prize other than a big list of new fics for you and your friends to read!
You might even consider including your own personal Author of the Year winner on your list! So many wonderful authors are nominated every year, but this is your chance to show your love to your favorites!
On May 3, 2016, the first book of the Trials of Apollo series was published, the book in which Will and Nico were confirmed as a couple.

Give Me a Reason to Connect, Be Near by Escapism_Part_2 (Trial_and_Error) - this fic isn't completed, but it holds a special place in my heart as the fic that truly got me into Solangelo. I think about it almost daily. Link
Will Solace and The Socialites of Olympus University by @sarcasmandships - this is one of my favorite fics of all time, and I reread it so much. The smut outtakes are also some of the best I've ever read. Link
august by @cordeliaandthecocoapuffs - you can't mention Solangelo fanfics without mentioning august, and it's definitely one of my favorite fics. The writing is absolutely phenomenal. (Also, august (will's version) updated today which is also super exciting) Link
Healing Takes Two by rabbit_soup - this series is one of my favourites, especially considering it has some excellent disabled representation. I just finished another reread of it and it's still that good. Link
Poetica Crescente byDJBeatz - this fic is so so so fluffy and super funny too. It also contains shenanigans from the rest of the seven. Link
Wildest Dreams by @rosyredlipstick - this fic lives in my thoughts. It's part of an amazing series of different Solangelo AUs, all of which are good, but this one takes the cake for me. I read it during an all nighter where I managed to read over 1 million words of fanfiction in one day. It's vaguely creepy, and it's stuck with me ever since I finished it. My bookmark even contains the words "emotionally changing" in it. Link
what if there were two (side by side in orbit) by @2nd2ndalto - this fic is by one of my amazing mutuals, and I actually have previously made a whole separate post about how good this fic is. It's an X-files AU, and is unfinished at the moment, but is extremely good. Everyone needs to read it. Link
