Superman losing his composure only when people shrug off the lives of others. Doesn’t matter how well he knows them. Doesn’t matter if they’re even human.

He gets upset at the Justice Gang for brutally killing a rampaging Kaiju and not even attempting to find a way to move it or at least euthanize it more humanely.

The only time he raises his voice during Lois’ interview is when she digs into his interference in geopolitics, because people would have died if he hadn’t acted. The only time he yells at Luthor is when Luthor abducts Krypto. The only time he cries is when Luthor murders someone he barely even knew.

He saves a fucking squirrel for god’s sake. We’re so back.

Shoutout to Superman (2025) for making it incredibly fucking clear that Superman is for good people. He’s hope. He’s love. He’s supportive. He’s an immigrant. He supports Palestine. He loves animals. He protects children.

The movie is a light. If you’ve been feeling really depressed about the world lately I’d highly suggest watching Superman.

I remember being 13. It’s arguably a shitty age to be; Kids are mean, your body’s changing, and life gets a million times more complex. In addition to all that, mental health begins to take a massive toll. Shining through the fog of all that mess was One Direction. They were a new start for me. They gave me something to look forward to. They were an excuse to try a billion new things during my youth that I never would have thought of. 

So many people that have a similar experience with One Direction. And I know that for us, despite the person that both us and Liam grew into, the children in our heads feels this loss deeply. It resonates through time to a version of ourselves that slept in a room filled with their posters. 

We feel this grief, overwhelming and greeting us far too soon. However, it’s in this moment of pain and grief that we must also remember the love and bittersweet memories too. Maybe that’ll make it all hurt a little more. But then again, how lucky are we to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard?

Don't look up news articles etc, they will not help right now. Reach out to friends whom you know liked 1D, but only after your first cry. Oxygen mask approach, people. You cry, you start on the grieving process, then you reach out.

Do not look at photos of the body. Do NOT look at photos of the body.

You don't have to look at the news. You are allowed to block his name until you're ready to deal. It's okay to hurt. It's okay to really, really hurt.

What annoys me even more about the cancellation of The Acolyte is that there are literally spin-off books planned on characters who died from season 1, clearly showing that there was a desire to expand the universe liking to the Acolyte ! So I definitely don't understand this cancellation !? Also the incredible nerve of extending the universe of the show but through dead characters who are not even the main ones... Or the simple fact of telling you that yes the story continues in a certain way for The Acolyte but not for the characters that really interest us. I have hatred.

Me at Manny's post: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

I'll tell you what it means.

I recall an interview where he talked about bonding with Amandla while filming this scene. They were staring at the sea, both realizing they were part of Star Wars—a huge franchise that they were both honored to participate in. I can't quote him exactly since I can't find the interview right now, but I do remember him talking about this particular scene..and now he posted a picture with Qimir and Osha to say goodbye to the show, emphasizing that there's no Qimir without Osha.

He has been uplifting his co star Amandla from the very start of the show. Both of them were mistreated by Disney and they probably feel terrible about it but they aren't allowed to speak out. Manny was used as bait at D23, expressing his hopes for season 2, only for Disney to cancel the show on his fucking birthday mind you....to make matters worse Disney hasn't even released an official statement and they've let their actors be treated terribly by incels and dudebros for weeks without saying a word then they canceled the show removed the merch from their official site and catered to their racist and misogynistic fanbase. they've done nothing to protect Manny and Amandla from the mistreatment they've received.

Manny has been very vocal about the show, pouring his entire soul into his role. He's invested in his character and has supported Oshamir from the very beginning, making it clear that he wants to continue the story despite the backlash! Instead of appreciating his talent and dedication, Disney chose to treat him like shit and cancel the show to make their incel fans happy.

Disney does not deserve him.
