‘ can we get that one?   he’s so floppy and cute! ‘ She points towards the golden one, paws up against the cage. It had blue eyes, too, which was strange for a golden retriever. She had dragged Fang out here to get a pet, since the only other one they had was a gold-fish, and that was a bit boring. Therapeutic, of course, but boring. ‘ look at him! ‘ She coos, squatting down and petting him through the cage.
