Skunk's interest in music recording tech got him interested in software originally developed for military use, obviously. He had a neighbor that was a retired Sidewinder missile program engineer that bought Skunk a subscription to Aviation Week magazine. Could happen to anyone.

So, obviously, being an ex-musician with a missile tech neighbor you get really interested in missile defense systems and write a 5 page paper proposing a new type of missile defense system. Like we all do when we get into our new fixation.

Except instead of just starting a WordPress, posting a few times, and getting all that missile defense fun out of his system, he handed off his paper to fucking Congressman Dana Rohrabacher. And boom he's getting security clearances and getting nominated to the chair of the Civilian Advisory Board for Ballistic Missile Defense.

Every delusion of grandeur you've had when diving into some new obsession is completely justified because if it can happen to Skunk, it can happen to you.
