❝ Huh? ❞ Haruki questioned after he had checked his pockets for his smokes to discovered he had forgotten to bring his pack from home with him before leaving for work. Haruki let out a sigh at his own forgetfulness.

Then Haruki heard Ugetsu’s word and saw the opened package of cigarettes. ❝ If it fine with you. ❞ he said with a small sheepish chuckle as he took one. ❝ It seem I forgot my own pack at home. ❞

“ THAT’S why i offered. “ ugetsu responded simply taking back the cigarette package and putting it in his coat pocket, lighting up his cigarette first before handing his lighter over to the other. “ need a light too? “

ugetsu didn’t know where this awkwardness came from. normally he was a much more charismatic person but perhaps it was the knowledge that this guy was the one akihiko had fallen in love with playing with his way of acting. he definitely didn’t want to portray himself as some kind of crazy ex, but he couldn’t help but feel a tad sheepish as he didn’t quite know how to really approach his ex’s new partner in a casual manner.

“ smoking may be bad for the health but it’s definitely something that helps calm the nerves. “
