Why an event center?

The aim of this blog is to provide a landing point to see what PHM-specific events are happening, and stay updated on the status of these events.

What type of events may be promoted on this blog?

Zines, reverse/big bangs, gift exchanges, prompt challenges, etc. Any sort of PHM-focused challenge, or collaborative event is welcome!

How do I promote events?

For events hosted on Tumblr, I reblog all relevant updates. For events hosted outside of Tumblr, I will post only interactive posts such as interest checks, applications, pre-orders and releases. 

Regardless of where the event is hosted, I will track it, meaning it will be featured on the pinned Ongoing Events list where I link to an event’s social media, open applications, information, and released content.

What content is allowed for these events?

Events may be of any content rating. This information should be easy to find in events’ info pages. 

Events may be general, focus on a particular character or focus on a ship. Shippy events will be tagged accordingly, so folks can seek or block to preference.

Events may crossover with another fandom so long as PHM or a PHM character is at least half the focus. (For example, an event centered around bloodymary or the coltland twins au would be featured, but one focused around the RGCU would not be.)

How Do I Participate?

This works the same as our main Augustellar event, which can be found @augustellar! The gist of it is this: using the daily prompt(s) from our Official Prompt List [x], create something original! It can be traditional or digital art, fanfiction, astrophotography, poetry, ceramics, moodboards or webweaves, stained glass...if you make it, it counts!

After, post your work! For posting here on Tumblr, tag us here at @augustellar as well as @laurelunar (the Augustellar MOD!), and use the tags #augustellar and #augustellar 2026. That's it!

What Can I Make?

Any form of art or writing!

The only cohesive element here is that this is a mini-event for sci-fi and space/astronomy. Write a Project Hail Mary/Stargate crossover! Practice your astrophotography! Draw Star Wars fanart! Don't limit yourself. If you want to stick with the main Augustellar theme of Project Hail Mary and throw in your favorite sci-fi crossover, that's what this event is for; if you'd rather just stick with your favorite sci-fi fandom without PHM, that's also accepted!

We here at Augustellar really just want everyone to create stuff. How you do it and what it is comes second!

I'm helping run a bloodymary big bang over on @bloodymarybigbang !! Applications are open right now until the 15th, and participants will be put onto teams with an artist, a writer, and a beta reader, with 3 months (Sept 5th- Dec 5th) to write a fic of min 10k words and make art to accompany said fics!
