       physical affection hadn’t been your strong suit for a long time. yet with akarui it came easily. come to hold her out at arms length, hands planted firmly on biceps as lips curl further upwards. soft squeeze given before you let both hands fall from her. one comes up to push bangs from face, brush stray hairs from sweat covered forehead.

       ‘  that was one of the easier maneuvers honestly.  ’ stretch self out, muscles sore and screaming. ‘  as for getting good at it, it’s just training, rui. plus titan and i have a good bond. it’s easy to get him to do things because of it.  ’

            the  other  agrees  ,  &  you’re  filled  with  overwhelming  excitement.  you’re  broadening  your  skill  set  ,  that’s  something  that  always  pumps  you  up.  feeling  adrenaline  in  veins  ,  could  train  for  hours  at  this  point.  not  only  that  ,  but  you  can  be  a  teacher  for  once  ! !  you  can  show  ebony  how  much  your  training  has  paid  off.  maybe  then  she  won’t  force  you  to  get  rest.

            “  we  have  ourselves  a  deal  then.  while  i  teach  ya’  i  can  tease  ya’  at  the  same  time  ,  so  it’s  a  two  in  one  deal.  be  prepared  for  the  best  &  worst  time  of  your  life.  ”

            joking  ...  of  course  ,  maybe  not.  the  best  way  to  learn  is  too  stay  on  your  toes  ,  &  that’s  how  you’re  going  to  teach.  keep  her  guessing  ,  &  possibly  make  her  a  bit  annoyed  at  the  same  time.  it  comes  from  a  place  of  love.

            everything  felt  numb.  everything  was  collapsing  around  you  --  &&  you  could  barely  breathe.  it  hurt  ,  it  hurt  so  much.  it  hurt  to  speak  ,  it  hurt  to  fake  your  signature  smile.  everything  hurt.  your  best  friend  ,  well  ,  closest  friend  ...  betrayed  you.  she  kept  a  big  secret  from  you  ,  one  that  was  life  changing.

            EDELGARD  IS  THE  FLAME  EMPEROR.

            how  could  she  not  tell  you  ?  you  are  who  you  are  today  because  of  her.  yet  she  lied  to  you  ,  &&  caused  so  much  chaos.  so  much  bloodshed.  it  makes  you  sick  to  think  about.

            now  you’re  alone.  you  joined  the  blue  lions  to  fight  back  against  her  ,  but  it’s  vain.  you  know  you’ll  lose,  die  on  that  battlefield.  it’ll  be  your  last  battle  ,  maybe  that’s  fine.  why  live  a  pointless  life  anyways  ?
