As in pirates are what come out of cowboy eggs left to incubate in wet conditions. Because both pirates and cowboys are primarily solitary species but the problem of water forces pirates to develop their social behaviours more via boats; whereas cowboys don’t have this environmental pressure, and while they can occasionally be found in groups, those rarely exceed a few individuals or last longer than a couple of months without any external incentives.
