Might have acquired a travel buddy with Vash, but it was ultimately to get her away from Picard, because imagine if Vash and Picard DID reunite and stay together in some fashion after Qpid.

tng is so funny because picard has this random god whose for some reason obsessed with him not romantically not platonically not sexually but in a secret fourth way that is also all three at once and this god is like kind of an asshole and all the other gods hate him and also think he's an asshole. and everybody still has no idea why he's obsessed with this middle-aged french man but he likes putting him in situations and showing up in his bed. also he steals picard's girlfriend
