Do not put your bunny on it’s back.

It may seem ‘‘relaxed’‘ or ‘‘sleeping’‘, but this is incredibly unhealthy.

They are  in a state of tonic immobility and are not relaxed, hypnotized, or insensitive to pain.

Scientists believe that this is a defense mechanism brought on when a rabbit has already been ‘caught’ by a predator. If the rabbit appears dead, the predator may release its grip momentarily and allows the rabbit to escape. Research has shown that rabbits in this state show an increased heart and respiratory rate with elevated plasma corticosterone levels, indicative of fear-induced stress.

The stress caused by this position can be fatal if rabbits are already suffering from respiratory and cardiovascular disease, and the sudden transition to from passive and active escape can be unpredictable and instantaneous which can result in significant injury to the rabbit. Sudden noise or painful stimuli can interrupt the trance and there is considerable variation in individual susceptibility to the technique

Your rabbit will display the following behaviors if it is tranced:

Closed eyes

Shallow fast breathing

Relaxed limbs

It’s honestly sickening to see people buying bunnies for their cuteness and softness, but not educating themselves on how to actually take care of it. If you keep trancing your bunny on purpose or bathing it, you deserve to have your pets taken away from you.

Rats are so easy to please. I shoved some sweet potato into cardboard toilet paper tubes, packed in with shredded paper towels. At first they were just excited about the paper towel shreds and started making a nest, then they found the sweet potato and lost their minds. Like they couldn’t believe what a good and gracious world they lived in that there could be sweet potato and paper towel at the same time.

4. How is your character’s posture? How do they hold themselves, how do they walk through a crowded room?

Ester carries herself with an air of confidence about her. Her shoulders are often slouched and relaxed but for the most part she has a decent posture. Ester is use to crowds, working in the busiest market in Anemoi after all since she was 10. If she has any amount of anxiety in crowds its not from all the people on their own. She'd have to be badly embarrassed to act any different. In crowds shes in her element, if she were to walk into a crowded room she'd go right through the center, if someone doesn't wanna move just push right past. Even in a very stressful situation, Esters confidence doesn't falter. She almost will never try to curl in on herself or hide away. Even if she were to again  encounter a man who's really hurt her, Alfonze, she'd still hold her ground, stare him straight in the eye if his caught hers and carry on her way.
