~ TOMORROW ~ We're still alive, check back tomorrow at 8pm...
One from our final show a couple weeks ago by Raquel S. Photography
We're lost for words, last night was the perfect send off to the last 6 years of playing shows as a band.
Thank you to everyone who came down to our final show, to everyone who has ever supported us by coming to one of our gigs, bought merch or downloaded our music.
But we're not done just yet. We'll be signing off with our debut album, a piece of work we're incredibly proud of and that we feel sums up everything we were and are as a band. Hopefully we'll have more news for you soon.
Much love from the 4 of us

The wonderful Svalbarduk are returning to Birmingham this Sunday at The Flapper. They’re one of the most exciting bands in the UK right now, so don’t miss out! It’s also Someone Said Fire’s last ever show, get down and have a little cry: https://goo.gl/NZoazK
~ THE END & CLOSURE/FINAL SHOW & DEBUT ALBUM ~
It's with a heavy heart that we announce our show at The Flapper with Svalbarduk, The Tidal Sleep and DEAD HANDS on the 22nd October will be our final show as a band.
We are however incredibly excited to announce that we will be signing off with the release our debut album!
We've been writing the album for the past 4 years and recording it for the past 2 years. It's been a long time coming but it's a record we've completely done ourselves and we can't wait to share it with you all. It's a self-titled album as it truly represents what our band was and is all about. Keep your eyes peeled for album details in the not too distant future.
Ever since we started this band in November 2011 we couldn't have imagined to have played the shows and written the songs we have, but without your support none of it would have been possibly. So please join us one last time at The Flapper in a couple of weeks time to see us out with a bang.

~ SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT ~ We'll be heading back to our favourite venue in the whole wide world (The Flapper) on Sunday 22nd October in support of the truly excellent Svalbardukand The Tidal Sleep! It'll be our first Birmingham/home town show in exactly a year which again befalls on our bassist Matt's birthday, so there really is no excuse to miss this one... PLUS it might well coincide with the release of some new music*... Event page: https://goo.gl/NZoazK Tickets: http://bit.ly/2tUfxEm *if you're good (keep your eyes peeled)
#tbt #throwbackthursday 'Cruel reality, why did you catch up with me?' Recorded at Carbon Studios in December 2012 and released in January 2013, a song we have long retired.
Thanks to everyone who caught our set in Stratford last night and for Censor Yourself Music for putting on a sick show!

#tbt #throwbackthursday 'I don't want to die as soon as I'm born This one life is all I can afford But here I am, trapped in the morgue And there's no fucking time to mourn' Our last release and first music video was for Concerning Dasein back in July 2013. Ever since we've very gradually been writing for our next EP and since October 2015 we've been recording it ourselves. At some point we'll be able to share it with you all...
Catch us at No.1 Shakespeare Street in Stratford this Saturday for our first show of 2017: bit.ly/2iwNmXk
