The use of a label specifically for people that “are attracted to people, not genders” hints at the ugly and farcical implication that bisexual people are attracted to just genders, which, even if true, would make no material difference as to who bisexual and pansexual people are attracted to. Attraction is never just about gender, everyone who feels attraction is attracted to the people and not the gender they are. i dont care if i sound bitter but the best way to support lgbt people u see in public is to leave us alone (unless they are in danger) but like if you see a same gender couple just walking down the street holding hands like just stay quiet… even if you want to say something like how brave we are or whatever like? it’s still alienating bc we all know that you wouldn’t stop a straight couple on the street to tell them the same thing
