In poker or just card games players have different tells that hint towards what their next move will be or what they’re trying to hide by the way they conduct themselves. For me being Psychic I have the same idea of indicators that I get when spirit is around me, someone or something is trying to communicate, or when the universe is trying to show me something. Here’s a list!
Goosebumps, Not just normal ones even though that’s part of it, I get goosebumps like any person but the shiver you feel across your body starts at the bottom of my spine and shoots up to my shoulders and base of my head.
Hair standing on end for no reason, even when I don’t get goosebumps with it
Changes in Aura, I can see auras around myself, other people, and sometimes in a broader sense of an area, room, house, or location and it changes when spirit is present of when someones energy changes
Temperature change, random dramatic changes in my body temperate or the air around me from normal to very cold or very hot-> others don’t feel these same changes because they aren’t psychically/ spiritually aware of what’s going on around them
Tasting metal, a strong metallic taste in my mouth usually comes when there are spirits around or spirit guides are trying to help me urgently
Strong gut feelings, I basically get a strong ~vibe~ from a situation, person, place, or plan that tells me if it’s bad or if there’s some dark intention surrounding it/them
Lights flickering, stereotypical of course but when a strong spirit is trying to make contact and get me to notice them lights tend to flicker or blink for a second then go back to normal
Sensing weather patterns, this one isn’t so much a sign of spirit as the others. It’s more of a gift that I get from the universe and energy fellow of the earth. I’ll randomly get a thought that it will rain this afternoon, and it does. Or I think today will be the first day it snows, and it does.
Natural trust, I hear the words “I don’t know why but I just trust you” or “I feel like you would understand” once a week, sometimes from random people at school or even when I’m at a party or someones house. People I've just met will even tell me things because they feel like they can trust me. All people have a level or connection to the energy that spiritual beings and phenomenons flow through, some just don’t realize that they are experiencing it when they’re drawn to telling me things or asking for my advice.
Feeling Other’s Emotions, I often walk past someone and get a wave of whatever they’re experiencing that is prominent in their aura. So basically whatever that person is feeling through their emotions, whether it be sadness, anger, guilt, or joy, it rubs off on me and I can usually tell exactly who is feeling those emotions, even in a crowded room. My friends and family can never hide any thing that’s bothering them from me because I can physically feel their emotions surrounding them.
Intuition/ Predictions, I can sense when someone is about to walk through a door or who is pulling up the driveway before they even get close to me or I see them, my intuition tells me who or what is about to happen in the near future, like my mom almost hitting a deer in her car, my family friend having a stroke, and telling my grandma her phone is about to ring ten seconds before it does.
Repetitive Signs, when I’m stressing about something all week i’ll see 11:11 on the clock every morning and night, or when I need to know something from my spirit guides I’ll ask them to show me something if what I’m asking is true (Ex. I’ll say “If i’m supposed to chose this class show me a snake) then I’ll see a snake on someones tattoo randomly, I’ll see a real snake outside or I’ll happen to bump into a person wearing a shirt with a snake on it. These repetitions are signs for me that my spirit guides are watching over me and that i’m making the right choices.
Significant Dreams, If I wake up in a panic from a nightmare I immediately dive for my notebook to write it down. I believe our dreams hold a lot of meaning in them and especially things that our brains are trying to show us or help us figure out. For me my dreams often have a certain feeling to them that tells me if they’re 1.A Prediction (trying to warn me directly of something that’s about to happen), 2. Spiritual, (a message from the universe or my spirit guides, something that I’m supposed to remember or know at that time to help me during the days) Or 3. Metaphorical, (the entire dream or multiple situations in it are symbolical of something I need to deal with or think about, or watch out and be careful of)
Animal ~Whispering~, yup, Rob Schneider over here. I obviously don’t talk to animals but I can also sense their energy and emotions. It sounds crazy but what have I posted on here that doesn’t? I hear “wow he/she doesn’t usually like new people” all the time, and everyone of my friends animals will come to me before them, my sisters cat likes me more than her I’m rarely even around it.
Sense Of Direction, I’m my Dad’s starred hunting buddy because I ALWAYS know where to hunt. I’ve helped him and his buddies bag more deer and elk than my uncle has at his hunting camp down the highways further into the bush. My friends always ask me for directions when were together even if none of us (including myself) have ever been to the destination, and when we get lost downtown in big cities on trips my family makes me the navigation person.
One major downsides to my gifts is that I need breaks from people and their energy quite often so that i don’t take it on and I’ve had to work really hard throughout my life and especially my childhood to block other peoples energy from taking from my own.
