If you make progress on your doctorate degree during the COVID19 pandemic, you get to claim the title of Plague Doctor upon degree completion. True Fact. I don’t make the rules, that’s just how it is.
I got a new notebook for my bullet journal and I am in love with it!
Also, it is finally reading week! So I get a bit of a break and a chance to catch up in my classes, thank goodness.
I love that I’m at an age where I can roll over in bed and pull a muscle in my back.
is anyone else getting absolutely no work done at all
7th August 2020
I had a supervision meeting with my main supervisor today and it went really well but then, after the meeting, my secondary supervisor emailed and tore my work to bits. I'm really frustrated because my main supervisor loved it and was really encouraging but now I feel like my work is awful. So, for the rest of the day I'm going to read and forget that I'm even doing a PhD.

Idk if this makes anyone feel better but I regularly get comments like this on my drafts lol
You know it’s gonna be bad when they hit you with the “first of all”
Grad school is just this endless cycle of someone telling you that you’re stupid and you being like “ok thanks so much for the feedback! I’ll get the revised draft to you by next week! Thanks again!!”
after almost two months, 1/2 of my birthday gift finally arrived! (still waiting for the brain and skull) it’s so pretty. this will be good for me when reviewing ana since the innervations are pretty sick.

changed my date format, I'm liking it better this way :) but I just noticed how confusing the conventions for writing dates in English are.

Learning about intrusion detection systems, really a very fascinating field in information security and also very important. (Had to hide some parts tho because I had to pay for the PDF and don't own any credits and the mindmap is my own little [and secret 😉] project idea).
Btw I think I'm doing the &-character the wrong way but now I'm so used to it that doing it differently just looks completely strange to me 😅.

It’s been over a year since I last posted. I’m no longer a fourth year mestudent struggling with psychiatry and neurology. This year, I’m on my last year. Back to internal medicine - and still struggling.
2020 has been hard, to put it mildly. A global health crisis in the form of a pandemic - are we really living through quarantine, isolation and daily news about the increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases? Worldwide?? It’s like a bad dream. And amidst it all, our daily everyday hardships continues.
Stay safe. Keep going. Like most things, this will soon be over.
I know I should stay calm and not give into anxiety re: the end of days, but it is snowing in the middle of April, and that is definitely not helping the vibe 🙃

w1 q1: have you made a study schedule to help you study at home?
yep!! you can see it up above, i’m a pen and paper kind of girl when it comes to schedules. my due dates and schedule for study abroad is also in my uceap (uc education abroad) notebook
w1 q2: how are you being taught your lessons?
my university has chosen to use zoom! as our online classroom. but i know some teachers will opt for top hat out of personal preference (i hate it blease no)
