that awkward "hey please pay me to make things" text post
So a freelance job I started and finished over a month ago has yet to pay me and probably never will. Long story short, this is what I get for trusting nonprofits I don’t know that well. In 2 weeks I’m moving across the country for grad school, and it’s not that I was depending on that money to make that move, but every little bit counts when you use a Buick Le Sabre to tug a UHaul.
I make all sorts of cool things and want to make cool things for you.
I don’t charge much (I think my average commission is like $40?), I just want to make things before I go so I can earn a decent amount of cash money. I also don’t expect this to be very successful campaign, so I’d be happy to get only like 2-4 projects from this.
Here’s what will happen: you can send an email to [email protected] with what you want, we can discuss prices, then I’ll make a custom listing on my Square Market that you can make a deposit on. Once we get a finished project that we both like, I’ll make a second listing for the rest of the price of the commission. And when that gets paid, you’ll receive your painting/full digital file/print, depending on what you got.
Also: A lot of the old work on my website is for sale as well so feel free to holler at me for that stuff and we can figure out what it should cost. So yeah. Let’s have fun shall we?
