Midorya's true quirk:
Some thoughts about PD in SU: The Movie
- Fact: Spinel's story was really sad and what happened made her feel miserable.
-Also, a fact: If Pink Diamond had not abandoned Spinel and all that belonged to his "childhood", perhaps she would have never been able to make the decision to rebel against his family (three powerful creatures with armies and magical powers, who have been subjecting her to abuses for years).
Spinel represented his innocence and, as children find the strength to give away their toys (Spinel was a living being and not a toy, yes, I know), Pink Diamond decided to leave Spinel behind to enter a new phase of his life. She abandoned the game to assume her responsibilities.
-Fact: Pink diamond should have taken Spinel with her, instead of abandoning her on a planet, alone, for 6000 years.
When Spinel decided to move from the position she had been in for so long, her feet had stuck to the ground and were blocked by roots. And even if it had rained in that place (I saw plants, so there must have been a minimum of atmosphere, but perhaps not enough for rainfall...), I am pretty sure that she would have remained there, motionless, to wait anyway. Damn.
-Also, a fact: Do you remember that annoying "friend", you had when you were younger (or you still have)? The one who seemed a bit silly and that was a good person, but you didn't want to spend time with because you had "other things to do", but he/she stuck to you anyway?
Yes, there she is, Spinel. “That friend".
And if you don’t know what I’m talking about, maybe you were that kid.
Other examples: The person who sticks to you and doesn't want to go away. That immature person who, beyond a certain limit, stops being "adorable" and becomes annoying and stupid.
Maybe the child your parents or teacher said you to spend time with, even if you didn't want to and you couldn’t stand him/her.
Or the person with a handicap who is actually sweet and has a big heart, or the elderly with problems in doing movements or with memory lapses who need your help, or your classmate, who is kind, but everything but smart, and continuously asks for help....
Say me that you have never met one of this kind of people.
The fact that you leave a person doesn’t mean that you actually don't care for them. The thing is that you can't stay 24/7 with people who need help. You are not alone, there are other people too, and you can't throw away your potential and abilities for the good of anyone around you.
To be stupid sucks and be stupider than the others sucks even more, because you know that you will never reach the others and you will never be enough. You will always need someone else’s help. But you can’t drag down other people with you. Some people are more mature than others.
“Sorry Spinel, if I couldn't spend much time with you. Next time I will avoid saving all the living creatures of an entire planet, just to play with you”.
You needed help and you had some? Cool. Now let others go their way and follow their ambitions.
Consider the story in real life, where people buzz around you, bore you and distract you from your work because they want who knows what.
Overall, this is not a good excuse to treat someone badly, just because they need some help and steal 5 minutes of your life. I hope it’s implied.
-Fact: Pink Diamond abandoned Spinel causing her to suffer from a trauma of abandonment that who knows how long will take to heal.
-Also a fact: If a person suffers abuses from her/his parents for years, is highly probable that she/he will have lots of difficulties in loving a person.
Pink Diamond didn't learn how to love, and it may seem strange to say, but the ability of “loving” is a skill you learn from the people around you.
If a person who has been abused, doesn’t receive help or does not realize the errors committed by his/her abusers, he/she will possibly become “bad” or even worse than his/her abuser/s. Treat people horribly leads to create even more horrible people and so on.
Pink has been abused for years by White, Yellow and Blue Diamond. She was imprisoned multiple times (from what we can deduce) for YEARS in a place with no light that, for gems, is similar to water, food or air.
She was jerked, treated like an infant and who knows what happened to Pink Pearl. If the diamonds would have known that Spinel was not useful or had a bad influence on pink, probably they would have make her end like Pink Pearl (although, we still don't know exactly what happened to her).
Did Pink Diamond abandon Spinel for years? -> yes.
But
It is thanks to her that, an entire species of immortal creatures that performed galactic genocides, colonized planets killing any life form on them and used other creatures of the same species as objects, soldiers or toys or even shattered them, has changed? -> yes
- Is it true that, since the portal that connected the Earth to other planets had been destroyed, Pink could not return to the garden where Spinel was? And is it true that, if the portal was repaired, Homeworld gems could return on the Earth and see that some Crystal Gems were still alive, despite the corruption? -> also, yes.
And this is how the best overpower villain in 2018...
...became the best waifu in 2019.
Theory
Steven, after arriving on Homeword and coming out from Pink Diamond's room, met Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond in their respective saunas.
Someone hypothesized that their body fluids (their sweat), are used to create gems and that they are collected right in the rooms we saw in "Familiar".
For this reason, I think that as soon as Steven arrived on Homeword, he met White Diamond in her "sauna".
Now you could say: “sauna? It didn’t seem like a sauna”.
In fact, I believe that White Diamond prefers to extract a liquid different from sweat. For Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond is their sweat, for Pink Diamond are her tears and for White Diamond ... her blood.
I don’t know if gems actually have blood, but, before, we didn’t even know that they could sweat… so…
I read a similar theory on another post (I mean the fact of the blood), and I think this is why White has her arms raised in the shape of a “T”: her wrists are connected to some sort of drip.
Now, the question is: what are the white wires that are on the Homeworld?
There are various wires that extend into all the space visible on Homeworld. I don’t understand exactly where they come from, but looking at White, it’s clear that these sort of ropes derive from her. They look a lot like veins, more than ropes or cables.
Are these her "veins"? I don’t know. But it’s possible that they could have something to do with the extraction of her fluids. Or maybe, they bring her blood (an “energetic fluid”) to all the structures of the planet and they use it as source of energy…

Theory: White Pearl has been accidentally corrupted.
Lots of people already think that White Pearl may have belonged to Pink Diamond, due to the resemblance of their clothes and the position of Pearl and Pink's gems.
But I also believe that White Pearl may be the result of an accidental attack of corruption from Pink Diamond.
Let's look at the other corrupted gems:
Someone might say: "White Pearl is white and is so robotic, it must have been White Diamond!".
But none of the corrupted gems is like her!
None of them is completely white and, despite the physical deformations caused by the power of Yellow Diamond, none has cracks on the body as White Pearl.
Moreover, they don't seem to lack emotions, they seem angry or scared.
We know that corruption is the work of only three diamonds and not of Pink Diamond.
Now let's examine the power of PD:
She is able to "give back" the soul to the dead... What if she could even take it off?
A person without a soul is nothing but an empty puppet, without emotions and who has lost all his/her colors.
And of course, this is can't be a painless process without consequences: that's why Lars, after the accident has been healed but White Pearl, victim of the reverse process, has a crack on her eye.
Lapis: hates everyone but SteVEN
Peridot: the Crystal Gems destroyed her ship and got rid of her limb enhancers, but the rain is a cute weather event and insulting Yellow Diamond is cool so ok.
Jasper: wants Steven dead because he is his mother who is actually the person Jasper loves the most... wait what
Pearl: loves Steven because he's Rose's son.
Garnet: loves Steven because he's a cutie pie and an innocent boy.
Amethyst: tries to amuse Steven since his life is fuLL OF TRAUMAS.
I am so Sorry but I couldn’t resist
