let's start with the whole 'dont come here' immediately making her want to come here thing. its obviously something all the slayers share but for dani it feels less like curiosity/worry for grace and more just 'you told me not to, so i will' hearing that there's something worse than zombies is literally just a challenge.

"A whole festival, all to myself." i love how dani believes that everything is the Dani Show all the time. when she says that grace seems 'alive and well' she almost sounds *annoyed* about it.

(in response to grace telling her to go away) "Rude." girl you technically broke onto HER land despite everything telling you to go away. you're breaking into her house right now. she should shoot you.

"Not before I've had the pleasure of making your lovely acquaintance." dani genuinely has fun ragebaiting grace. just shows up and fucks with this random woman who's obviously in genuine mental distress. she loves it.

dani's big into guinness surprising nobody at all.

(after breaking the speaker) "Ha ha ha! Stupid speaker!" if the dani has no acceptable targets for bullying in the form of humans or zombies, it will resort to bullying objects. this is normal behavior for the dani when lacking in enrichment.

every time grace tells dani the beat is not to be fucked with dani's response is 'yeahhh. but who caressss'

"Looks like I'm taking on this beat alone. Like a sound assassin!" she cant go five minutes without relating things to murder, can she?

the immense joy dani feels at mincing zombies with the turbine speaks for itself. she LOVES murder and she loves tormenting zombies.

"Boooo. Pre-show checks. Everyone died anyway!" you'd think as a person with aspd myself i'd be more careful about throwing around the word 'sociopath' but sometimes dani says something that's just. so hilariously ME. and i know if I said this it'd come from a place utterly lacking in care and empathy, so i attribute it to her.

anyway: the violent, chaotic individual with narcissistic tendencies enjoys being on stage doing a lot of murder with explosions and pyrotechnics. WHO'S SURPRISED? she's having a blast

"Dancing. That's my cue to hit the club." she YEARNS for the club.

(upon seeing cadenza) "Did Mammy let you off your leash for a little run around, Petal?" if your dani goes without bullying enrichment for too long, beware of introducing others into it's space. the dani will likely be overzealous in it's bullying due to lack. for the safety of both your dani and of the other party, try separation via gate or other physical barrier.

"How about some nice peace and quiet, yeah?" grace you should feel honored that dani's doing this for you. i dont think this woman equates quiet with peace aside from the quiet of several murdered zombies.

it stands out to me just how worried dani is about grace. like she's genuinely very concerned and upset when she's freaking out, but when grace refuses to leave and brings up some very real concerns with the plan, dani IMMEDIATELY coldly goes "Fine. Enjoy zombie-life, Grace. You'll fit right in." dani is extremely okay with saying cruel-ass shit to people when they refuse her initial kindness. one wrong move spoils the whole pot, and though she DOES still care about grace, i dont think she ever like... apologizes for saying that.

also she's incredibly short with cadenza and tries to ignore her too. Bad Mood Dani strikes again.

"Grand. So, what'd Cadenza do to lose her sofa privileges?" the sheer glee in her voice always makes me laugh. you KNOW dani has siblings because she loves seeing other motherfuckers get in trouble.

and now she's also pissed at konstantin. LMAO.

and yeah, she is SO worried about grace. oh dani once you truly care for someone you just care for them forever no matter what. she's a lovergirl (but also she never fucking apologizes for saying what she said. lmao)

dani is SOFUCKINGPISSED at cadenza lmao. reasonable absolutely, because miss 'i can control it' was completely possessed five minutes later.

dani even finds a way to be flirty with the clotter holding the yurt key. chat she's a certified freak.

"Only three trials? Bring it." you can start this quest very early in the story, and at that point, i will say dani's confidence is like KINDA un-earned. but hey she does do it so i dont care if she's cocky.

"Keep off the grass? No signs tellin' me what to do!" even tho she reluctantly admits the sign had a point its funny that she got SO heated about a sign. like damn girl its not an insult to your character.

(during the fire trial) "Not the first time I've had to burn my possessions." her language here peaks my interest. 'had' to burn her possessions. dani did your mom make you burn your things.

the entire agony trial is just dani proving again and again that she is a kinky motherfucker. dani what is your safeword tell me. but also 'next time' implies she didn't HATE it...

then dani beefs with a door. she has so much love AND hate for inanimate objects.

DANI'S SECRET IS THAT SHE'S TRANSGENDER. THAT'S WHAT THAT IS. IN CASE ANYONE WAS WONDERING. (and also that she has aspd)

everytime a recording plays of hope slipping deeper into haus, her reaction boils down to 'hope you kinda deserve it for falling into this shit.' like there's brief moments of sympathy but it's always mainly 'lmao you idiot.'

dani is lowk interested in the deeper. if the shit was popping off in full, she would ABSOLUTELY be there.

(when zombies are attracted to veronique's head) "G'wan give her a nibble. She won't mind." murderous. murderous violent impulses.

"Stealing a human head from a club? That's a first, even for me." i wanna know what shit dani has done where the fact that she *hasn't* stolen a human head from a club is surprising to her.

dani loving the dark woods because 'spooky time' is so cute.

dani is FULL into the arena combat and proving her worthiness part of haus. she's like 'im not gonna join this cult but you BET YOUR ASS i'll fucking excel at the cult initiation rituals'

(upon seeing a horribly burned corpse) "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mr. Crispy." i can count on two hands the amount of times dani sees human corpses and reacts in any way approaching horror sadness or sympathy lmao.

dani's first thought upon seeing a door made of unknown energy is to Touch. this is in character for dani but what would she have done if that was a fuckin laser door or made the entire room crush flat or some stupid shit.

dani loves them damn orgone balls. it's so fun.

also one of her brain burst lines is "Ooh, Disgusting!" in the most delighted tone. adorable.

anyway. THAT'S HAUS. not as much for the dlcs so i combined them together. and *that.* is the end of this stupid little series lol.

a list of thing's dani says that i can reasonably twist as her having aspd/low empathy/being slightly too into violence/having anger issues (featuring minor amounts of context and quite a lot of reaching to justify my projection) part one: flight of the dammed through to the start of room service for major booker. i'll do it in bigger chunks later i swear but this is gonna be a lot of parts lol. part two here

(when michael says she'll protect joshua): "Will I, yeah?" dani says this in such an amused tone that to me it reads like 'i absolutely fucking will not!'

(first zombie killed) "Hah! They can be killed!" i love the way she sounds both surprised, delighted, and bloodthirsty here. like she sounds like the murder felt GOOD

(all zombies killed in tutorial) "Hah! Fuck the lot of yeh! Right. Where was U?" she says 'where was i' in a genuinely confused tone rather than an annoyed one. girl got so caught up in the bloodlust that she forgot about the whole 'helping people' thing.

Not a specific line, but the entire time she's helping Joshua and Angelina she sounds so bored and insincere. the other slayers at least sound like they don't want him to die, dani sounds like she's going through the motions and kinda doesn't give a shit.

(after being bit) "Fuck me! I was trying to help you!" that was almost exactly my thought during that moment, and *my* next thoughts were 'thats the last time i fucking help people for no reason' so im putting that on her. told you we were reaching.

in the context of the last line, dani's stomps feel especially spiteful.

a blanket statement about her absolute *lust* for weaponry. this woman is straight *purring* when she gets a good weapon, she is genuinely obsessed with zombie murder

another blanket statement: for me, one thing ive noticed about myself is i get unreasonably annoyed when thing's don't cater for/work out for me in specific, even if it would be ridiculous and stupid to expect it to be so. whenever dani (all the slayers really) get annoyed about something being locked that has no reason *not* to be locked, like someone's front door, it reminds me of that. like, how dare you impede me? it makes no sense for you not to, i'm the one trying to break in, but i'm still pissed!

(on breaking maglock) "Hitting stuff solves everything." lmao. violence isn't the answer, it's the question, and the answer is yes.

(after opening cuffs) "Fucksake. Everything in this city is fake." it's very rare but Dani occasionally seems to hint that she fuckin' hates this city. this isn't an aspd thing, i think liking LA actually makes you more sociopathic lmao, its just a fun detail.

"That's my cue to get onstage!" she is SO EAGER to go out and murder some more.

third blanket statement: any time someone tells her NOT to do whatever it is she's planned to do, she doesn't even go 'thanks, but nah' she goes 'go fuck yourself i do what i want'

(after sam tells her she's not bite proof) "Neither are they. They're not the only ones who can fight dirty." DAMBUSTER WHY DIDN'T YOU LET DANI BITE THE ZOMBIES. SHE WANTS TO BITE THE ZOMBIES.

(after talking to michael) "On it, sarge." to be clear she also hates being told what to do if it *was* the same thing she'd planned on doing.

(earthquake) "Oh, you fecker!" i ove her irrational anger. like the earthquake wasn't caused by anyone, yet dani is still cursing their name

(talking to curtis) "Who're you calling kid?" dani go five minutes without getting pissed challenge: currently impossible

"Alright then, let's find this bure." zero actual care or concern to be heard. just annoyance.

"Feck. I can't let the old fella die too, now can I?" i dunno dani it sounds a lot like that's what you'd rather do lmao. it sounds like she's annoyed that she has to pretend to care. (or at least, feels like she does. dani you are not immune to masking though you think you are)

dani *does* sound like she's upset when she tells curtis the girl died but based on her pasts lines im gonna assume she's masking lmao. (sam, are you just gonna say everything that disproves this shit is just dani masking. ... Not Everything...)

just bc dani doesn't care if most people die doesn't mean she isn't capable of it. in cases like curtis and ricky, it's being she admires their work and so she values them more (and also wants them to like her and give her things)

amanda admits that part of the reason she kept running off and doing stupid shit is that it got dani to notice her (and be mean to her)

if you havent noticed amanda is A Brat but her bratting is more putting herself in mortal danger

at this point the whole thing of 'amanda fucks off to somewhere random in HELL-A then makes dani come find her and film content with her' thing is more of a game/flirting thing for them

dani doesn't try very hard to stop it, because amanda's numen anyway. yes, she was capable and clever before that, but now that one wrong mistake won't kill her she doesn't mind as much

she still worries, of course, but it's a background sorta worry

every time they get through with the whole song and dance amanda goes 'okay im jumping down now, catch me bestie!!' and dani is like 'DO NOT' even as amanda Does.

she keeps saying that 'next time' she'll just let amanda eat shit instead of catching her. next time, she swears!

if you just listened to the way dani talks about amanda, you would NOT think she likes her. dani doesn't mean to, but she comes off as very nagging and disparaging toward amanda. amanda loves it because she is a Freak.

on the other hand, amanda is *disturbingly* sappy and affectionate with dani. it makes dani extremely flustered but-
