I can’t believe it’s been 14 years since Kagerou Project began!!!!

I was 12 when the first album came out, it was my first special interest. It was the thing that made me go from passively watching YouTube and scrolling tumblr and deviantart to begin content creating myself, the year I got my first drawing tablet and made a YouTube just to start a Kagepro English chorus. I made my first internet friends because of it, got my first art commissions, made my first cosplay. These songs and their story about perservering through childhood trauma and the bittersweet feeling of looking back on it all and the people it led you to mean more to me with each year as I look back on them as an adult. I hope one day the project will be back fully in the hands of the people it belongs to but until then it’s so nice to see how the fans who love it keep its memory alive!
