What's meant for you , won't pass you by

on another note, i’m trying to push myself to be more vulnerable in real time about how i feel. one thing i don’t think people talk about enough is that healthy love teaches you just as much about yourself as it does about the other person.

it reveals unhealthy habits you didn’t even realize you had. it forces you to confront your defense mechanisms instead of hiding behind them- and someone who genuinely loves and cares about you will ask follow-up questions. they’ll want to understand why you feel the way you do, not just hear your answer and move on.

healthy love is honestly the hardest kind of love. because it asks you to be fully seen and in return, it forces you to become fully aware of yourself, your patterns, and the parts of you that still need healing and growth.

this week has just been a series of how many emotions can i feel in a 3-day work week. my entire Saturday has just been me regulating my nervous system n eating sushi
