You are an unreliable narrator because your coping mechanisms for your deep-seated trauma forbid you from acknowledging the reality of the situation. I am an unreliable narrator because I sincerely have no idea what the fuck is going on.

my apologies for rant but i hate how sanghis politicization hindu religion on facebook and social media to gain followers . hindusim is not indian relgion but south asian religion
The categorization of diverse traditions in Indian subcontinent under the umbrella term 'Hinduism' were done by European colonizers and traders. Even though the word 'Hindu' word has Persian roots and had existed for centuries, 'Hinduism' as a religious label emerged fairly recently...in 19th century. The association between 'Hinduism' and 'India' is not something sanghis invented, they are playing into a pre-existing notion set by Europeans who referred to the whole Indian subcontinent as 'India'.
If we consider modern day geographic boundaries of South Asia...Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Maldives are Islamic countries, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are Buddhist majority countries, Nepal and India are Hindu majority countries. 95% of global Hindu population reside in India, and religion does serve as a tool to gain support of a portion of Hindu demographic.
But then this use of religion as a tool to gain followers isn't unique to sanghis either. Nor is this phenomenon unique in India. Creators from other religions also use their faith as a tool in the same way, all over the world. Everyone has a freedom of expression and it's not really my place to comment on how they choose to express their faith, even though I may or may not agree with their ideas.
Hey girl.I think you are cool af. Don't let anyone get you down
Thank you for your kind words🥺<3

had you heard movie called ramachand pakistani?
I haven't. What's it about?
What is this new trend of stealing traditional Desi cultural food, clothes, ornaments, etc., and rebranding it as if they invented it? It's just disgusting.
Cultural appropriation, at the very least doesn't claim to have invented it
It's something far far worse and revolting
latest: Prada stole Kolhapuri chappal
omg Scandinavian scarf got a successor
i was shocked when i found out how pakistani and Bangladeshi hindus become victim of spacegoats by Hindutva groups destroyed Babri Masjid in india and how musilms become spacegoats followed 9/11 and godha train burning
Yeah, it's wild yet unsurprising how extremism is not exclusive to a community. The Babri Masjid and Godhra incidents, 9/11 globally, countless terrorist attacks, genocides of different ethnic groups, heritage architecture destruction and numerous instances I can quote from recent history.
It's not about one community or religion, but the unwillingness of people to put a stop to perpetual cycle of hate. And most of these incidents stem from some or other root cause, be it a reaction to injustice done to their fellow community members or a faith so blind that they justify their crimes in name of God.
In an ideal world, we focus on building bridges and respecting each other, rather than letting these extreme incidents define us. Some groups should accept and acknowledge the wrongdoings of their community, and some groups should learn to let go the grudges they hold and stop blame game. Unfortunately, we don't live in such a world.
I am also very sick of the religion politics that has been going on the Indian Subcontinent. It's no secret that religion is probably most powerful tool that parties have been using in India. I want to vote for a party whose primary policies are scientific advancement, economic progress, solving unemployment crisis, countering the dire state of pollution is Indian cities, national security and so on, unfortunately there are no parties like that here. Even if there were, unless religion comes into play they won't get votes.
So yeah, ultimately it's the mentality of the people. Each country run their own version of information universe. I understand both Urdu and Bengali and the content on Pakistani and Bangladeshi news, media channels, even certain school books and madrassas instill anti-India and anti-Hindu sentiments right from childhood, they are much worse in this aspect than India. When your perception is systematically shaped to hate a certain community, with the way things are going, I don't know if there's ever going to be a solution.
