In all honesty, this completely threw me off from the whole tense scene and the ‘Prototype face-reveal’ because I was just preoccupied laughing at this.

My brother is getting back into gaming for his YouTube channel, and recently he’s been collecting an array of games of all different kinds to play. Not just genres of thriller or simulation, but even kiddish games just to be funny.

Our Mom, seeing this, decided to share his humor and get him Hello Kitty Island Adventure, because it was on sale.

Now he’s trying to convince me to get it and play, because and I quote “I’m dragging you down with me”. Fuck.

It was such a split second blip within the trailer, but I managed to slow it down enough to pause it and saw this.

When you lay still on the ground alongside Napstablook, participating in his family tradition for a certain period of time, you begin to see an array of starlike lights.

I’m not sure if somebody else has thought of this—I believe someone might have, but what if we were actually seeing alternate universes? Or, maybe dark fountains for the Dark World. What do you guys speculate?

Fun fact: When browsing Toriel’s room, she has an encyclopedia that briefly discusses “Typha”, which in-game is described as ‘a group of wetland flowering plants with brown, oblong seedpods. — Known more commonly as Water Sausages.’

I’m sure a majority of fans who played the game know this, but somehow I had missed it until my most recent play-through. So, I thought I’d share this little detail for those of you who also didn’t know. I’m curious if maybe it’s an added detail on the PC version that may have not been included in the PS4 disc version, but most likely it was just me.
