The Untamed [behind the scene] | Can’t stop laughing
GoT - The (Grand) Finale
the first couple of minutes when they were walking through the wreckage in complete silence were eerily beautiful
Tyrion’s reaction when he found the bodies of his siblings was heartbreaking
Jon going from “i will follow my queen forever” to killing her within minutes was WTF? but i guess we should be used to character development like this by now...
so Drogon has always been an anti-monarchist, who would have thought?
Bran might be a cripple without the will to rule but at least he’s got balls (kinda...), so i guess he qualifies?
seriously, i can get behind Bran the Broken, it could have been worse...
can’t say the same about Bronn...i mean WTF? Why don’t they just throw their money away and be done with it?
Brienne writing about Jaime in the Book of Brothers - i liked it, but it was like an invitation for memes...
i think Grey Worm was the only one who actually stayed true to his character until the end?
what about the bloody Night King? Anything?! Did that storyline actually matter at all?!
Oh well, time go back to waiting for the books, perhaps i’ll return to his blog when the time is ripe. Until then Valar Morghulis!
GoT s8, ep.05
UGH.
I wish Dany would have just burned down everyone and everything, though chances are the “good guys” would still be standing because plot armor has reached ridiculous levels now.
The acting was top-notch, though. These actors deserved better writing.
Also, please spare me the “but it’s been foreshadowed since s1~″ crap! Foreshadowing that nullifies all character development doesn’t equal good writing.

They finally fucked! They finally fucked! They finally fucked! They finally fucked! They finally fucked! They finally fucked! They finally fucked!!!
With that out of my system, i am sure Jaime’s going to die now. But at least it’s not going to be bloody Bronn, it’ll most likely happen while trying to fulfill The Prophesy.
They are really setting Dany up to go down the “mad queen” path now. i suppose. I can’t say i like it very much. Never liked the blind idolization of Jon either. Which seems a lot stronger in the show than in the books.
“Dracarys!” and Dany’s reaction was great, though. Very strong acting. Definitely my favourite part of the episode (aside from youknowwhat, of course..)
GoT s8, ep.03
aka “I couldn’t see a fucking thing half of the time...”
Well, that was kinda...anticlimactic?
when i saw Arya trending on twitter, i’d hoped for a second that she actually died...but of course, that wouldn’t happen
The Night King was a big disappointment
so much hype for basically nothing...
i hope Cersei will do better
i’m not the biggest fan of Arya (i blame book!Arya for this, her POV voice is utterly unlikable IMHO, show!Arya was toned down quited a bit), but at least it was her, killing TNK so prematurely and not Jon...
with Jorah gone, there’s one less voice of reason to keep Dany grounded, i fear they are setting her up to walk her father’s path...
will Jaime really be killed by fucking Bronn?! That would piss me off majorly...
my expectations for the second half of the season are pretty low now, but perhaps the show will actually manange to surprise me again for a change
GoT s8, ep.02
I don’t have much time, so i need to make this quick:
Jaime knighting Brienne is probably the closeset thing to them fucking we’ll ever get and i am more or less fine with that
i am also completely sure now that one of them probably Jaime is going to die an awful death
LOL@everything Tormund said and did in this episode
aww, Theon and Sansa i am sure he’s going to die an awful death
Tyrion on the other hand will most likely survive as he seems to be obsessed with talking about dying...
another aww~ for Lannister bro moments
Arya: sex is overrated
Jon: i am your father nephew, Dany!
everyone in that OH-SO-FUCKING-SAFE crypt is going to die, i’m calling it now!
let the dying begin~ okay, i’m not really looking forward to the dying, i do however look forward to the epic battle!
Game of Thrones s8 premiere
While i felt didn’t really feel the hype leading up to the final season, i got excited as soon as the theme started playing. Talk about succesful conditioning...
My (only half-serious...for now) prediction: Bran is going to make everybody else kill each other and then ride off into the sunset with the Night King.
Seriously, he’s getting creepier with every minute. I love it. And of course the “old friend” he was waiting for is Jaime. Now that’s going to be interesting...
I also liked that Jon find out the truth about himself right away and they didn’t drag that out forever.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Trailer
requested by thatwasdramatic
Snow in the riverlands. If it was snowing here, it could well be snowing on Lannisport as well, and on King’s Landing. Winter is marching south, and half our granaries are empty. Any crops still in the fields were doomed. There would be no more plantings, no more hopes of one last harvest. He found himself wondering what his father would do to feed the realm, before he remembered that Tywin Lannister was dead. — Jaime VII, AFFC ♦ requested by joannalannister
Fuck Loyalty
Fortunately, there are still moments in this show which come close to perfection, like Jaime leaving King’s Landing: riding on a black horse while wearing a black cloak and hiding his golden hand beneath a black glove while the white, merciless snow slowly starts falling. The acting and the music were also perfect.
I’d trade all the battles and dragons for more scenes like this.
Some quick thoughts about the s7 final
the show has really turned into a ASOIAF fanfic now
i mean, there’s nothing inherently wrong with giving the fans what they want, but if it takes every bit of tension and every bit of surprise out of the show, it’s not really GoT anymore
this series has always been about “the grey area” and about nobody being safe and that element seems to have completely gone out of the window now
Littlefinger was one of the last “grey” characters who actually bothered to still play The Game and not just sit around all day (i’m looking at you, Varys...), his death was foreshadowed from miles away, but it still felt so rushed and shallow that i didn’t feel anything at all...
and Sansa may be The Lady of Winterfell, but she’s still completely dependend on robo-bro and killers-sis...
Dany is hot, Jon is hot - so why did their sex scene feel like the most unsexy thing ever?!
and yes, we get it already, Jon is “the rightful heir to the Iron Throne”, you can go home now, Dany and take your “rightful place as a woman”: behind your man, bearing his heir (because if Jon says you can have babies, you bloody well will have his babies!)...my only hope now is that Dany will (rightfully) freak out when she learns the truth and says “fuck you, bitch! I haven’t gone through all this shit to become the King’s wife!”
Brienne and Jaime reunion was nice but too short
Euron is still awesome
Theon was awesome, too
Jaime is riding north to meet his death in Brienne’s arms in s8? y/n/maybe?!
ice dragon ftw!
Night King riding the ice dragon and bringing down The Wall singlehandedly ftw!
so now i’m waiting for TWOW which will hopefully come out before the final season! I trust in GRRM’s writing to satisfy his readers while still letting his characters remain in the morally grey area and keeping the element of surprise
Truth.
My prediction for the GoT season final
That negotiation meeting will go south real fast. Cersei is paranoid as fuck and there is no way she’s gonna trust Daenerys or Jon Snow, let alone Tyrion. She’s got The Mountain and Qyburn and she’s gonna be prepared.
All those armies won’t be there just for show.
The Night King has a full-grown dragon now and he won’t be afraid to use it.
There’s gonna be fire and blood and then there’s gonna be winter and a gigantic cliffhanger
