As a nonbinary person myself, I can honestly say I don’t fucking care whether Kris is amab or afab. I don’t care if they’re transfem or transmasc. I don’t care about whether they’re “boy nonbinary” or “girl nonbinary,” and I find it really weird and uncomfortable that this is such a huge debate.

I don’t care. Neither should anyone. It’s disheartening to know that not even a fictional character can escape being binarized.

man, idk I just feel like coming out to everyone and your fucking middle school science teacher maybe wasn't the beautiful coming out scene I had been hoping for. even if byler happens, will byers deserved better than that. noah acted the shit out of that scene but can you imagine having to come out under those circumstances? because I sort of can. I came out to my entire family and friends while having an episode of psychosis, before I was really ready, and let me tell you. everyone was so accepting and even then it still FUCKING SUCKS to not get to do that on your own terms. will byers, the sweetest, most selfless not on the universe, deserved so much more than that
