My Little Pony: Make Your Mark
Gen 6 Design by me(sopheriette)
This concept I've created almost a year ago and I still adore it dearly. It has both old characters returning like in every one of the generations(unlike gen 5 but we don't talk about it), themes suitable for all ages, and cute colorful horses that make you go "why I relate to them???" XDD As you might notice most of them are based on gen 3 specifically. It's not because it had some secret meaning behind it. I just liked the designs of it the most as a kid until gen 4 came out)))
Either way, the main idea is:
Finding your purpose doesn't end with a cutiemark. It's messy, confusing, sometimes unfair, but SO much easier with friends beside you)))
Posie is a soft-spoken, perpetually tired pony who grew up surrounded by flowers and expectations. With a cutie mark that appeared early and a future already planned for her, she spent years doing what she was 'meant' to do… Until it stopped feeling like it was enough.
Leaving her family’s flower shop behind, Posie comes to Ponyville without a clear goal, only the quiet determination to figure out who she is beyond her cutie mark.
Minty is an endlessly cheerful candy maker who lives for the magic of Heart-Warming Eve.
Her cutie mark appeared during the holiday she loves most, and she’s spent her life trying to make every day feel just as warm and wonderful.
Running a candy shop filled with sparkle and sweetness, Minty keeps the celebrations going year-round, even if, deep down, she knows the magic she’s chasing only truly comes once a season.
Wisteria is the picture of elegance.
Talented, polished, and admired by nearly everypony around her.
As a celebrated florist and local favorite, she takes pride in being the best at what she does.
But beneath her perfect smile lies a quiet fear of being overlooked, and when attention drifts elsewhere, Wisteria struggles with the feeling of coming in second… Something she simply can’t accept.
Star Catcher was born into royalty with a future already chosen for her, but it was never one she could truly live in.
Leaving her title and expectations behind, she arrives in Ponyville to start over as herself, not as the pony she was meant to be.
Kind, reserved, and quietly determined, Star Catcher is learning how to exist without a crown, and how to define a life on her own terms.
Toola Roola is a bold, unconventional artist who creates loud, messy, and unapologetically strange art.
Her cutie mark came from painting, but with few ponies understanding or appreciating her work, Toola is left questioning whether her talent truly has a place.
Pretending not to care, she keeps creating anyway, determined to follow her passion even when no one’s watching.
Rainbow Dash is loud, confident, and impossible to miss, or at least, that’s what she wants everypony to believe.
Behind the bright colors and bold attitude is a grey earth pony with no cutie mark, constantly reinventing herself in hopes that something will finally stick.
Afraid of fading into the background, Rainbow keeps moving, performing, and pretending… Because stopping might mean facing the fact that she doesn’t know who she is yet.
