This is actually super sad when you think about it…of course he was always going to give Belphegor his blood he’s literally said “always happy to bleed for a Winchester”, BUT they didn’t ask him Sam-SAM of all people- basically told him to jump without hesitation without discussion. This is a demon wearing JACKS meat suit, he could have used this blood for a number of nefarious spells instead. But Cas is expendable. He’s their weapon, only there for them to use… we saw this in season 11 when Sam was ok with Lucifer riding in Cas, difference here is that Dean doesn’t defend him. Cas is “dead” to Dean here. He’s truly alone right now being coerced tap his angelic veins with no one looking out for his well-being. Just think if the spell had called for the blood of the righteous man or Lucifers true vessel?? Yeah, they would have still done it (because plot) but there would have been pause Sam wouldn’t have said that to Dean and vice versa.

The empty hasn't thought this through and can't imagine the kind of chaos it has brought upon itself. Because now that Cas found out that just saying it makes it happy, whatever it is that wakes him up this time, he won't shut up proclaiming his love through the empty, waxing poetics about Dean in serenades so loud that will wake up hordes of angels that will kick the empty's ass. But like why did they make it a point to show REPEATEDLY thoughout season 15 that our Angel of Thursday was losing his powers if it wasn’t goingto be important to Cas’ ending? His power or lack therefore of had NO impact on 15x18 at all...

Also why have Ruby practically beg Cas to get her the hell out of the empty if he wasn’t even going to rely this to the boys? Like it added NOTHING to the plot. They could have just had her make some snarky remarks and ask about Sam. They took the time to have her make Cas promise he’d try and get her out...why waste time?

Why show Jack blowing the empty up and making everything so loud??? If Cas truly is gone for good why did they do so much exposition with the empty at all this year? Having it take on Megs face and showing it in pain because of what Jack did just seems like a lot of screen time for this to all be wrapped up in 15x18...

I know I’m clowning...but like why so many plot holes??
