and I couldn’t reply to the post, so I am just chiming in to say it’s Modern Greek but almost all these words are either totally shared intact with Ancient Greek or compounds formed from Ancient Greek.
Only μεράκι has no association / similarity to Ancient Greek because it’s a loanword.
