Sophie the BFG

Hi! My name is Sophie. I am a Flemish Giant (I will be a BIG girl) and I am 1 year old. My mommy got me on May 12 2012 and I love answering any questions you may have on Flemish Giants or how my mommy takes care of me!

It breaks my heart to say this but unfortunately last night around midnight Sophie passed away in the wonderfully helpful vet techs arms at the ER. I brought her in because she was having a difficult time breathing. The vet ruled it as the sniffles and was sending us home with her and medication. Sadly before we could even get out the door she stated panicking in the vet techs arms and sadly passed away. Her little heart just couldn't take the stress. I loved Sophie with all my heart she was my little baby and always will be. Im so glad I had 3 wonderful years with my BFG and hope she has plenty of bananas in heaven. RIP my beautiful baby Sophie. Mama loves you very much and hope to see you again xoxo

Sophie pays tribute to stuffonmyrabbit Vinnie with a little angel, he will be missed and she hopes he has lots of fun on the Rainbow Bridge with all the other bunnies.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this.

On the evening of Sunday, January 5, 2014, at 7:15pm pst, our precious Vinnie took his last breath. We are all so saddened by his loss. We will miss him terribly and it will take some time to get used to him being gone. Thank you in advance, everyone, for all of your thoughts, prayers and support during this difficult time.

As for the future of this blog… Instead of posting photos of Vinnie with stuff on his head, we will be posting photos, videos and stories of Vinnie throughout his life, so you all can see what an awesome bun he was. We won’t be posting every day, but maybe once a week. Occasionally we will post an “old favorite” of Vinnie, with something on his head, but we mainly want this to be a celebration of Vinnie’s life from now on. We will also continue to post on our Twitter, Facebook, and Sulia pages so everyone can see how awesome Vinnie was.

Thank you, dear followers, for your love and support throughout the year-and-a-half that this blog has been up and running. We appreciate each and every one of you, and so did Vinnie.

Hi Darling! I was wondering where you got your pen from? :) My baby is in need of something he can't jump over, and I'd love to know where you got that blue hidey hut! ^-^

I got it from petco but any pet shop should have one, get the tallest you can afford :)
