@sopranoknitter
Do you knit and watch TV at the same time? Emily ranks the 22 TV shows she remembers watching while knitting over the past 10 years.
I've gone and written a looooong blog post about all the TV shows I've watched while knitting (and sometimes doing crochet). It was inspired after having a peek through my archive here on Tumblr.
I recalled 22 different TV shows that I watched and decided that I would rank them for watchability while knitting. The incredibly subjective criteria was:
Do you need your eyes on the screen all the time?
How good is the dialogue?
Are the plots easy to follow along with?
Do you notice how repetitive it gets?
But I suppose this begs the question:
Do you like to watch TV while you knit or crochet? And if you do, what do you like to watch (particular shows or genres)?
Some of the shows I ranked included:
Hannibal
The Sopranos
The Walking Dead
Daredevil
The X-Files
Elementary
... and more!
What about you?

Eilean Donan, Scotland 🏴
Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most iconic and photographed castles in Scotland. It is located on a small tidal island in the western Highlands, where three sea lochs meet: Loch Duich, Loch Long, and Loch Alsh.
The castle was originally built in the 13th century as a defensive stronghold against Viking invasions. Over the centuries, it became a stronghold of the Clan Mackenzie and later the Clan MacRae. In 1719, during the Jacobite rising, the castle was partially destroyed by British government forces after being used by Spanish troops supporting the Jacobites.
For nearly 200 years, the castle remained in ruins until it was restored in the early 20th century by Lieutenant Colonel John MacRae-Gilstrap. The restoration was completed in 1932, giving the castle the beautiful appearance we see today.
Today, Eilean Donan Castle is a major tourist attraction and a symbol of Scottish heritage.

Bordeaux, France 🇫🇷
Bordeaux is a historic city in southwestern France with roots dating back to Roman times, when it was known as Burdigala. It became an important trading center due to its location along the Garonne River.
In the 12th century, Bordeaux came under English rule after the marriage of Eleanor of Aquitaine to Henry II. During this period, the city prospered through the wine trade with England.
In the 18th century, Bordeaux experienced great economic growth and many of its elegant classical buildings were constructed.
Today, Bordeaux is famous worldwide for its wine and its historic center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
